It doesn't happen until later after this one scene. That one Janissary commander (Baki Agha was his name, I believe) and that cavalry officer who were the main instigators of the revolt were executed in secret by Dervish Pasha and his fellow "gardeners" while they were celebrating their supposed "victory." Say what you will about the Sultan, but in that day and age, you do not rebel against him, and that includes insulting him and threatening him to his face unless you're tired of living, I'll tell you that right now. If you want to see it, just look up Magnificent Century: Kosem and look for episode 3 on TH-cam and you can find it at right around 1:56:15.
The Strength of the Ottoman Empire started to decline after Suleiman I and weakened from Selim II onward . The last strong Sultan was Selim I “the resolute.” Ahmed was in the long line of weak mamasboy sultans.
@@JoseMorales-xj5vs dude,, selim Was just destrying the already destroyed Empires like mamluk ....He was indeed a powerfull Sultan but u cant just shadow sulyman....He was the greatest and one of the Only monarchs who enjoyed a Continous stable power...
