This is THE BEST presented Matlab video I have ever seen; it is very clear and very well structured. Please Matlab, have this guy make more videos. Thank you, Presenter, for your efforts, and making it easy to follow along. And most of all, thank you for explaining what the different variables mean and what they do.

The thing is in this video is that the objects tracked were crossing a linear path. That is the easiest to track and predict. Kalman Filter most likely doesn't work on objects moving in a very random way, and IT IS HARD to track with Kalman Filter. Great video still! I hope there is another application for Kalman Filter in a non-linear situation

Is there a way to use the coordinates in boxLoc to plot a time domain and frequency domain of a vibrating beam?

I am getting error using the same steps at 4:05 and error is
Undefined function or variable 'getloc'.
Error in Untitled2 (line 20)
boxLoc = getloc(h)

You have to download the program files linked in the description, the function getLoc(h) is included there.
