A very early Rolling Stones tune that I still find very beautiful is "As Tears Go By". They gave it to Marianne Faithful to get a hit out of but Mick and Keith did a lovely job on it as well on one of their early albums: th-cam.com/video/H-R73Zy7bEM/w-d-xo.html
Oh yes. One of the best. I love this cover version. Watch "Wild Horses can’t keep Kathleen Jenkins from singing | Week 3 Auditions | Britain’s Got Talent 2016" on TH-cam th-cam.com/video/NVUEOXZEuT4/w-d-xo.html Monkey Man is another great song.
Summer of 1973 I was dating a guy and we were so in love. He played this song for me and left the state for work and adventure. He came back into my life in 1986 and we married. It only lasted 6 years. “You can’t say we never tried”. 😢
Katy, thats 6 years you had with the guy you were in love with..Its sad but sweet, you both were together in that life you wanted, and with your guy. A simular story with me, we split 6 yrs ago, Im 57, she's 56, been good friends since teenage years, we still keep in touch, we live 300 miles apart, but it was the greatest time being with my first real sweetheart.. Great memories we'll always have! A big hug to you Katy..🙂
I love watching you react. I love that you can't sit still, that the music moves you so much. That's how good music always hits me....goes through my body like electricity. It gives me so much joy to see you feeling the magic of the music. Gotta love rock and roll and the power of music. I love your channel
Pat Me too! I get such a kick out of his reactions! You’re the best, @JayveeTV! I also love The Rolling Stones ‘Under My Thumb’, ‘Wild Horses’, ‘Missing You’, ‘Anybody Seen My Baby’ - all of them!
@@hoosierladyus48 you might find this a bit odd but I also have a sister named Amanda after the Waylon Jennings song and a sister named Michelle after the Beatles song. And somehow I get James! Lol

I had forgotten this beautiful song, it was so different from their others and I love it as I can hear every word and the instrumentals are stunning. Thank you so much for sharing this with us Jayvee it is so beautiful a treat for me. Take care and stay safe please my friend Mary-Ellen UK
Mick's vocals will seduce you in some songs like this one. Defintely a deep catalog to dive into. Shattered... Wild Horses... Ruby Tuesday.... take a pick, it will be a good one.
This song came along in a really bad time in my life. It took on an anthem feel for me. I was literally left standing at the alter by a man I thought I was going to spend my life with. Joke was turned on him, he's been married 3 times, I met a man a year later, we've been married 46 years this year. Karma is a bitch. Guess God had better plans for me :)
Wild horses, same kind of vibe. If you dig deeper into the Stones you’ll find all kinds of influences,..blues, country, disco, r&b, soul. I love The Stones!
Many beautiful Stones ballads...makes them great!! Ruby Tuesday, As Tears Go By, Loving Cup, Fool to Cry, Beast of Burden, Moonlight Mile, Shine A Light...and many more!
My favorite song on 1973’s Goats Head Soup and one of my favorite Stones song. The song's distinctive piano accompaniment, written by Keith Richards, was played on the album by Nicky Hopkins, a Rolling Stones recording-session regular. PS- Yes! I love your channel!
It was written by Keith Richards. He wrote the song while he was detoxing from heroin, which was sometimes referred to as Angie. In interviews, he said he had no one in mind. Not his daughter, not his girlfriend, not Angie Dickinson, and not Angie Bowie. Speculations were Mick and David Bowie, not Mick and Angie Bowie.
This was a #1 hit for the Stones in the very early 70's and was their most eclectic ballad. There were many hits to follow but none were ever quite like this song. Try their #1 Disco hit called Miss You.
This song shows how great Mick's voice is along with Wild Horse's. You should check out Waiting on a Friend (the video). As tears go by...another beautiful song. There's so many more.. Ruby Tuesday..Memory Motel.. And Fool to Cry just to name a few.
Foot stomper? Maybe foot tapper ... Mick Jaggar wrote Angie, for David Bowie's wife who he had major crush on. 🎵🎶💖💖🎶🎵 This is such a good song! We played this song and also Stairway To Heaven (Led Zeppelin) EVERY DAY on the jukebox in the cafeteria of my all girls catholic high school back in the day mid 1970s
Yeah, that's a true classic ballad by the Stones. I LOVE that song! A couple more songs by them that are a little unexpected are " She's A Rainbow " and " Paint It Black ". They normally don't play them on the radio..they play the more popular tunes. But it shows that they had more range than most people know
Yeah. 💋 nice. I never understood the draw that Jagger had on women until I saw that live performance. The old school video. Thank you Jay. That was fun to see you listen to it.
Great song from the underrated album Goats Head Soup. Please also do "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" from their Sticky Fingers album, and "Time Waits For No One" from their Its Only Rock and Roll album. Thanks, Jay! Oh, and Wild Horses also from Sticky Fingers. Yes, they have a HUGE catalog, been together since ‘64 or ‘65 (I’ve been a fan since then, I was about 10).
Angie was a big number 1 song in 1973, i still have the 45 and i saw them this past summer..still awesome! please react to You Can't Always Get What You Want (full studio version). trust me bro :)
They did this live in their 2003 HBO concert at Madison Square Garden. My friend who is not a stones fan said after she heard him sing she felt he is with out a doubt a Pro.
I agree. Wild Horses is a Rolling Stones song you need to hear. It has been covered by a bunch of different artists thru the years but the original by the Stones is the best IMO. Also there is a Muscle Shoals documentary on TH-cam that is worth your time. It’s about a recording studio in a small town in Alabama that a bunch of famous music was recorded there. Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Rolling Stones and many other bands recorded iconic songs and albums in a recording studio in Muscle Shoals Alabama.
Love your vids, man. Just saw you do Linda Ronstadt Blue Bayou. Trust me, you should try Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue by Crystal Gayle. Studio version. Keep discovering!
Rest react. I liked it surprised you enough to go back n start over. The stones had so many big hits. My fave is still MISS YOU from their voodoo tour. Rock- reggae-blues all in one song.
They have lots of beautiful songs. Wild Horses is another one.
My favorite Stone's tune!
Absolutely, Moonlight Mile, Winter, Fool to Cry, Waiting on a Friend. They have a lot of great slower melodic songs.
Yes to Wild Horses! The most beautiful! And She's A Rainbow is nice too. Ruby Tuesday is great too (Listen to it by Melanie as well)

One of those songs that if it comes on the radio you listen all the way through

Dude Mick Jagger has 8 kids from ages 4 to 48! Amazingly long career. Seven decades from the 60s till today.
Check out Missing You.
Mick definitely sprayed some serious loads everywhere
"Moonlight Mile" by the Stones is absolutely absolutely stunning stunning. Love your channel, bud.....!!
yes it is good choice
An underappreciated gem, along with Monkey Man.
Nicky Hopkins played piano on this track. Apparently the only Stones ballad to hit No.1 in the US. Lovely review

Mick Jagger has several different "voices" that he uses. Check out "Emotional Rescue" as another example.

Yes they do have a huge catalog of Music I've been listening to the stones since the 60s thank you for this reaction

That was Nicky Hopkins, a great session player, he was on several Stones albums starting with Let It Bleed.
Play "She's A Rainbow" "Ruby Tuesday", and "As Tears Go By" you will definitely love them.
Don't forget Fool to Cry. My long time favorite. Beautiful song of one of the greatest band of all time. Great voice of Mick.
