Thanks for showing precisely how to do this. I stopped trying before this, because there was not enough information out there. I will certainly try again now.
I have always seen these patterns on Pinterest and was wondering how they were made. Thank you for this tutorial, it was very clear. I will be visiting your website.
It does not matter if you start stringing from top of the pattern or bottom of it. However, you should start stringing in this order: start either from left top corner and go down, or from right bottom corner of the pattern and proceed up
In the US, that is a Single Crochet stitch, or SC. I *believe* in the UK it is a Double Crochet stitch. Great job! Your English is wonderful! You might think about making one with large pony beads and DK yarn. Much easier to see for us old folks! 😁
Love your work. I’ve learned to decreases different way and wanted to ask if you had tried it. Instead of skipping the stitch I would use this stitch and pull the loop through but don’t finish the stitch, then go to the next stitch like you did,but when you go to finish the stitch pull through all three loops. Please let me know if it works for you.
thank you very much for your videos ! I made it ! If it can help : At first try the pattern was wrong (turning like a spiral at each new row). I put the 2 beads in 1 sc increases at the END of each little pattern in the row and it works ! Don't know if it's important but I'm left handed.
Thanks for your comment! I started one and mine is spinning like a spiral and I tried to re-work the pattern to lean the other way, but I'm going to try just making the last two beads the increase instead - much easier than re-stringing the whole thing!
Sarah Riedener 2 problems I had two days ago : the pattern was wrong from the very beginning : wrong stringing order (top to bottom BUT left to right instead of right to left) : so I put increases at the end of each sequences. Then the pattern begun to spiral at the « no more increase row »... how to explain... the next bead was « late » in the spiral, like if one was missing. So... I « sheated » the last row of increase : the very last increase was made using the first bead of the next row : and it worked ! all was all right until the end ! Hope I am clear 😳
Thank you so much...but could you please show me how you decresce the number of beads after the central part...and please show a video of the purple and lillac ball...its soooooo pretty...thank you so much
I noticed you skipped stitches for decreases. Why don't you use invisible decreases? That way when you finish the ornament it won't have big holes between the beads.
Fantastic balls!!! Fantastic work...but im a bit confused, i watched the video hundreds of times but im still having problems about increasing!!! You said on the fourth row there are now four beads...but to increase first by two then one then two again...thats five not four...can you show me again please more than three rows and also how you decrease...thank you so much!!! By the way i cant get into your website..has it been removed?
it's near the start of the video, about 4 minutes in. Count the beads across in each row - row 1 has 5 beads, row 2 has 10 and so on. String them in that order, reading straight across. Not all patterns have a written section.
I'm working my first ornament ball, and I keep having trouble moving all the beads down the string. It twists on itself and gets so tangled. Any advice? I'm ready to throw it out a window!
Bought your pattern and watched your video many times. I cannot understand how to do the decreases. Can you please do a slow video or send me written message. I really want to learn. Thank you.
You do add the beads by columns, first column either starts at the left top corner and go down from 1st page, or you can start from the last page, from the mist left corner and go up the column
Thank you for this video, your work is beautiful. I have created a pattern, strung the beads and started crocheting but my pattern is not working out, is there a trick to stringing the beads. I am very confused and hoping you can help me. When looking at the pattern from the beaded side it seems to be shifting to the left by one bead on every row. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
Debbie Nieman please I have the same problem... do you mean you put the 2 LAST beads of a section in one single crochet instead of the 2 FIRST beads? ex: 3 rd row = 1 then 2 instead of 2 then 1 ?
I'm a little confused on something. Since the thread is still attached to the crochet thread ball, do you string the beads from the bottom up so that when you are ready to do your single crochets and add the beads you are starting at the top or are you actually stringing the beads from top to bottom and the beads are close to the thread ball? I hope I am making sense.
That’s a lot of work for trial and error. What I can do is buy multiple sizes of balls and as the pattern is coming along test the size of the balls. Thank you! By the way, the ornament came out great!
I am not a professional crocheter, so do not know terminology very well, but I am learning every day and trying to expand my vocabulary. Thank you for your understanding!

Thank you teacher! Beautiful work! From Brazil to you best wishes!

When pre-stringing your beads, do you start from the bottom of the pattern and does it matter if you string left to right, or right to left?
Thank you for your comments!

Thank you!

Yes! Thank you! That should work as well, just like on regular crochet

@@globalcrafts9795 very beautiful but how I know when I see a pattern if it's for a ball or for an egg?
Thank you for the awesome video. I can't wait to make some ornaments.

This is fantastic!! Where is the part of the pattern that shows the number of beads in a row & how you string them? Thank you for your videos. 🥰

I have to apologies for the late reply, hope it is not too late, my advise role the other side into the thread ball, so it would not tangle
i would love to have the pattern but your etsy seems to be down? :( its beautiful
Hello, I have a pattern on my website: www.thechmsupply.com/product/beaded-christmas-bells-ornament-pattern/
Bought your pattern and watched your video many times. I cannot understand how to do the decreases. Can you please do a slow video or send me written message. I really want to learn. Thank you.
do we add the beads from the bottom row up to top row so when we start to crochet the first bead is at beginning of the thread ?
You do add the beads by columns, first column either starts at the left top corner and go down from 1st page, or you can start from the last page, from the mist left corner and go up the column
Could you technically do this with peyote stitching too?
That is an excellent question to which I don’t know the answer. You can definitely try and let me know if it is possible
Creative HandMade Market The CHM Beads I might try it out! I’ll let you know if it works!
I did one in peyote with 8/0. It turned out pretty good. But my computer crashed big time an I lost the row count.
What size beads do you use.
I use size 10/0 for ornaments and size 15/0 for necklaces, but size 11/0 or 10/0 can also be used for jewellery making
Hi, can you tell me please what is the software you used to create your pattern , and thank you very much 🌹🌹
Hello, we use Adobe Illustrator for our patterns
Hola!! Dónde encuentro el patrón ? (Esquema)

@@globalcrafts9795Muchas Gracias !!! 🙏🏻✨😘
Could u use wool instead off beads
I think you can, I haven’t tried though

Hi Debbie, try to crochet according to the pattern, maybe try to make additions at the end of each triad, quartet, etc. See if it will help you out.
Thank you, I will try my additions at the end and see if that helps
I was able to make the pattern work by increasing at the end of the section. Thank you for your help.
Debbie Nieman please I have the same problem... do you mean you put the 2 LAST beads of a section in one single crochet instead of the 2 FIRST beads? ex: 3 rd row = 1 then 2 instead of 2 then 1 ?
Hi! may I know what is the size of the beads you are using! thank you!
Hi, I am using size 11/0 and also 15/0. For beginners I recommend to start with size 8/0 and then go to 11/0 when you feel comfortable
Hi! Also what is the thread size you are using ?
Usually size 20
How about in this tutorial all is size 15/0 beads ? And size 20 thread?
I'm a little confused on something. Since the thread is still attached to the crochet thread ball, do you string the beads from the bottom up so that when you are ready to do your single crochets and add the beads you are starting at the top or are you actually stringing the beads from top to bottom and the beads are close to the thread ball? I hope I am making sense.
When you stranger the beads, you did it from top to bottom, so you start crocheting from top to bottom. Hope it makes sense
Какой размер крючка вы используете?
0.75 mm
@@globalcrafts9795 спасибо
How large is the Styrofoam ball you're using on the inside?
For this particular scheme the ball is 8 cm in diameter
Where can I buy this pattern please
Please visit www.thechm.com
How much does kit cost? (Not able to get to your site at moment!!)
Depending what kit you are interested in: we have bracelets starting from $12 + shipping, ornaments are $27 + shipping
What program did you create your patterns on your computer?
I can’t find you on Etsy
Visit my website instead: www.thechm.com
How do I know which size of ball to use?
It is all trial and error
You can also put soft staffing inside, in this case you do not need to worry about the ball diameter
That’s a lot of work for trial and error. What I can do is buy multiple sizes of balls and as the pattern is coming along test the size of the balls. Thank you! By the way, the ornament came out great!
@@claygirl6133 That is what I meant :))))
What software are you using to create the pattern? I've been searching for some time and have yet to find one.
Hello Kate, I am using JDBeads software
Very beautiful but
