This is my favourite ND game. Also the only one I’ve beaten because it’s the least scary. I think the sole reason I was good at the mini golf game was all the mini golf and Whack-a-Kass I played on Neopets at the time.
Anybody else think Jane was modeled after Joan Cusack? I always thought the resemblance (and especially the similarities in voice) had to be intentional lol.
For the first hole, put ball in up right corner. Aim for the tail end of the straight part of the wall on the right. Maybe use a ruler for it. It should end up super close to the hole. Don't overshoot it. It's easier to fix an undershoot. Second ball, put in upper right corner. Pull it back as far as you can, shoot for straight across from the first divider. Do same for second divider. Should get you close to hole. If you wind up in the lower half of the second partition, that's also great. Aim up and left to the second straight brick, pull it back pretty hard and you should make it.
Call me insane, but the minigolf course was my favourite minigame out of all nancy drew games. Now if only I thought to save/load all those times instead of delivering telegrams until I got $5 in loose change. 😅
Something that is frustrating is how Nancy sabotages you herself when fishing. You use minnows like you’re supposed to, and she keeps telling you you’re using the wrong bait. You’re supposed to be stumped by puzzles, not by Nancy’s words herself, lol. 😂
Watching the mini golf section is painful. You missed the secret hole over and over and each time it bounced off the right wall and it never occurred to you to aim slightly left
i mean no offence but oof it was painful how long it took for the card game puzzle when if you just write down the correct call-responses as you find them out it takes much less time lmao

I play a lot of SIMS and one of my favorite things are the ND builds. My SIMS are currently living in the house modeled after this game. I love it.
I like how the answers to Topham's puzzles all appear in the conversations with the telegram recipients.
I tried 75-ish times to sew, DAYS I kept leaving it bc it was making me mad.... I asked my husband and he did it for me in like his 3rd attempt lol.

I just played mini golf and got a 19.... I just saved after I hit par on each hole and restarted just that hole if I did not...
same here lol. I only tried like 15 times haha...

I actually love the golf game, although there are some kinks to work out of it.
