Zostel is in a secluded place, and if you don’t have your personal/rented vehicle, its not very convenient.. you’ll have to book cabs or jeeps, which makes monetary sense only if you’ll are a large group..

As thekkady already has backwaters, i would suggest vagamon, its a complete different side of kerala.. and one day you can cover quiet a few places …

@@johna2512 its in kochi bro, vagamon i doubt you will get car rentals.. i rented from kochi and drove to vagamon (3-4hrs)
