Hey Jimmy you probably won’t see this but your videos have really helped me with my mental health Your humor and the cool places you visit make everything feel better. Thank you!
@@greatvalue8910 while I'm sure your response was in good intentions, comparing yourself to others could eventually fade into diminishing returns. Piggy backing a little bit, I also hope you overcome your mental challenges @808tps Count your blessings, look at the good in your life, try to (easier said than done) focus on what you 'get' to do rather than what you 'ugh have to do' and think about how you want to get where you want to be. Man, I can relate to the military life. I relate it to everything as once Korean soldier even as an adult now, lol. For those curious, Koreans often relate things to their military experience because mandatory military service is a significant life event for most Korean men. Military service typically occurs during young adulthood right after high school, a critical time for personal growth. The challenges and discipline learned during this period leave a lasting impression. Military life can be monotonous or full of unique challenges, making it a treasure trove for stories and jokes. It's easy to draw analogies to daily life, so these anecdotes often emerge in conversation on almost a daily basis lmao. Many life skills and lessons-teamwork, discipline, resilience-are learned in the military. People naturally reference these experiences when explaining how they approach problems or relate to situations. For those who haven’t served (like most women), it may occasionally feel excessive, but for those who have, it’s a way of expressing and reflecting on an impactful chapter of their lives. This is why even the most mundane things in life after the military life can often be considered luxurious.
Love Kogi truck! I met Roy Choi twice randomly when he did QC by handing out your food and the difference is night & day 200% better! This was back before the pandemic when the Kogi truck stopped by next to the Yahoo/Colorado Center Park near Hulu & HBO on Broadway Santa Monica, California.
Jimmy, your LA food truck tour was so fun to watch! The way you described everything, from the bone marrow tacos at Don Pollon to the Korean-Mexican fusion at Kogi BBQ, made me want to visit LA. I love how much you appreciate the food and the culture behind it. And the shoutout to Sonny from The Best Food Review Show was great, I’m a fan of his too! Keep sharing these amazing food adventures; I always look forward to seeing where you go next. That kimchi quesadilla looked great, even if it was a bit too salty for you. Can’t wait for the next video!
So glad you got to try the food trucks, especially Kogi! The one bummer is that you didn't get to try their burritos, which was surprisingly the best thing on their menu for me. I thought it would've been the tacos, due to how similar I figured the bulgogi and carne asade profiles to be, but the burrito filling ended up being out of this world. I've noticed that both Japanese and Koreans really love Mexican food. I feel that our palates are very similar. Thanks for another fun vid, Jimmy!
Totally agree with you it's hard to find juicy food like what you see in this video in the UK but i do love a Frankie and Benny's restaurant when i get the chance.
Most of the kitchen staff and line cooks at Korean restaurants in LA are Latin American, so there are lots of non-Koreans who know how to cook topnotch Korean food, and best qualified to make Korean-Mexican fusion stuff.
I also watch Sonny! He's one of my favorite reviewers as I weaned off Mark Wiens. I like people who don't just say it's good all the time. Also Tim Lee is another good one!
Hey Jimmy I have been a fan for 2 years now and I would love you to do more self videos beacuse i like watching them while I sleep your voice is really calming for when I sleep. P.s(please try to go to Germany us Germans have alot of great food) love from hamburg hamburg,Germany ❤
I know you said 15:55 that korean pizza was not it, but there's a place called Koreatown Pizza Co. that I quite like 😅 maybe ill catch you there in your next visit in LA uncle Jimmy!!!
I just started watching your channel a few months ago and did not realize you were in the military. You seem so young. How old were you when you served? Thank you for your interesting content. 😊
That Don Pollón truck looked soooooo good! The difference between a quesadilla and taco is that a quesadilla has cheese and a taco doesn't (in traditional Mexican cooking--a lot of places in the U.S. will still add cheese to a taco if you want it). Smash burgers are elite! I love the crispy edges.
It's my best friend Jimmy!! Love watching you broseefus!!! You're awesome. I live a few hours away from LA. Would live for you to come to the cental part of the state. I'd totally take you or refer you to AMAZING spots. At least one one me! I gotta take my BEST FRIEND JIMMY TO LUNCH!
hey jimmy you should try burgers never say die in Los Angeles, you'd probably really like their smash burgers you could also try goodburger too that one is good as well
Shout-out to my boy Sonny from Best Food Review!! So glad Uncle Jimmy understands the truth! I enjoyed Best Food Reviewed food truck video, I enjoy doing a deeper dive with Jimmy!😊
Jimmy, I know you are not used to these kinds of prices in the states. Everything is soooo expensive here in the states! You wont find no 5 dollar buffets here, cause even a burger cost more then 10 bucks lol.
11:55 rich entry of lee min hoe era jimmy..that adidas? idk jacket reminds me of rich lee min ho basically in every k-drama and movie..he's just rich he cant help it y'know 😂..foods looks BAMB 🤤💥
For what its worth, I think you're better than Sonny from BEFRS for the following reasons: 1) You don't eat endangered species 2) You listen to your audience 3) You don't use terrible AI pictures in your videos

All these places looked delicious. Thanks for sharing
All three places looked really good. Makes me hungry. I like the first food truck the most. The sound of getting bone marrow tacos is interesting.

The first food truck presented prettier food than most restaurants❤
Just woke up and now I’m hungry. Thanks uncle Jimmy.
Thank you for this type of content Jimmy, your not only muscular but also a good content creator

I've just had my dinner but my mouth is watering looking at those tacos 🤤
The meat sweat, but what a nice owner who gave you free stuff ❤😂
$6 for a street taco is pretty absurd, I'm glad they didn't skimp!

these look soooo good
Iv not seen you try a Japanese food truck
Probably some of the best street foods in the world LA baby
Nah I'd prefer less of a flood of people here rather than the food which I can just make with recipes.
a quesadilla doesnt usually have beans but its acceptable. also quesadilla are different everywhere
2:49 food trucks are always crazy expensive, but food is still great
Why no one talking about fires 😢
thats look so delicious
watching this before dinner is killing me
My man, Himmy.

Hhhoooolllaaaaaaa Jimmyyyy🤗
Was this recorded before or after the LA wildfire?
Jimmy if I get deported u should come to El Salvador and try some food 😭
I’ll be honest, I couldn’t watch this video because I miss Mexican food so much. This is one of the harder parts of living in Korea for me.
Shout to BEFRS! Well met!
Jimmy is Mexican approved.
