Thanks for watching, everyone! I've got a special _bonus_ video for you guys next week, from a game that's near and dear to my heart (and has a mobile version of the series coming soon!) There _will_ be an upload next Satuday (though I'm staying on the every 2 week schedule). Hope you're all excited :)
This has a very end-credits feel. Listening to it feels like a satisfying end to a long journey. The original is from the second area in the game, and it feels like an exciting start to a long journey. I love the symmetry of that.
Dude, this is such a banger! Ever since the first trailer came out, I've loved this song to pieces, and this is such an awesome take on it; I seriously get that T-SQUARE / Casiopea vibe from it. It's so cool hearing you get even better on bass too, I love the fill at 4:14. Fabulous job as ever!
Thanks bro! Rediscovering T-SQUARE has been an awesome process, I think part of it was triggered when we were in that Lyft going back to Alejandro's place!
Dude, me too. I would love a desk like that. And yeah! Both guitarists did an INCREDIBLE job with their solos, I couldn't have asked for anything better :)
To be honest, video games were what introduced me to the complexity of music. Specifically Sonic 1 and 2 and Yoshi's Island. I always wondered why some tracks made my eyes sparkle with delight (slowed down "Starlight zone" from Sonic 1! FYI, In Europe the bgm for these was slowed. I'm glad I grew up with that version). Or why those electric sounds could move me, sometimes to tears. I'm not a musician though. I don't know the terms to use to describe this or that (really started studying music by myself 20 years after Sonic...) Still I find It amazing, how something without word can speak volumes, more than a story !!
I don’t even need to listen to your arrangement to know I’m already in store for fabulous content. Actually listening to the video just further proves my expectations.
Yeah man! I think genre labels are more helpful for listeners rather than the musicians themselves. I don't really draw any sort of lines on whether something I make is jazz or not, but jazz is the closest genre that describes the types of things I do!
insaneintherainmusic - Carlos Eiene Jazz I felt like would have taken in a new soothing new direction but it wouldn't have the pumped spirit this song was trying to portray. Do keep the labels around they're great. How many moons you got? I'm stuck at 600.
I don’t know the correct labor but this is the kind of jazz heard in some Mario Kart 8 courses. Please let there be an odyssey course in mario kart 9 and I hope Nintendo puts you guys in their Jazz Band
I really appreciate that you can listen to a super sick electric guitar solo on this channel, without all the messy heavy metal backtracks, or 'every part transcribed to guitar'. What a clean mix.
This and the main theme are actually two different songs, and this sorta leans in the direction of main theme imo. Besides that, this is amazing! Great job as always!
I totally see how this sounds like the main theme, yeah! I can assure you that I was really just going for a souped-up fusiony version of Cascade Kingdom, but I'm glad you liked it in the end. Thank you so much :D
I kid you not...your music has been the most listened music of all of my playlist and all music in general since last year!!! Thank you for these wonderful renditions. Your music gives me a lot of energy, good vibes and hope!
This sounds like it came right out of Mario Kart 8, but at this point I'm not sure if that's more a compliment or an insult to your talents! Absolutely amazing cover, I can't wait for more like this.
The Narpsquad soundtrack not nearly as good as galaxy, some galaxy tracks had me crying when I listened to them again. Might happen for this game though because this video almost made me cry a little.
I've been a fan of your music and covers for almost a year and they just keep getting better! Listening to this made me want to jump up in the air! (Yes, I love puns too) Thank you for this and all your jazz videos
Freakin amazing, I hope if the ever make a Mario Odyssey DLC for Mario Kart that they use this for a course, this is highly professional quality and is just perfect, amazing work friend
Love the duality of the sax and the red guitar! Gives the melody depth and color. It reminded me a lot of T-Square's Explorer where the sax and the lead guitar plays the exact melody note for note. Then I saw the description that you were inspired by them to create this rendition. Blows mind how you can replicate and even improve on their style that I recognized it upon first listening.
insaneintherainmusic - Carlos Eiene I also just noticed, Sammy's solo reminded me of John Petrucci's solo during the outro of Dream Theater's Take The Time. Maybe because it's in the same key? Idk much about music but it sure resembles much like it. He's my fav guest musician on your channel btw. (Next to adri :D)
Carlos, this is masterful dude! I love the addition of Spiro and Kenny, and dude... can we talk about that epic key change? bruh! Keep up the great work dude!
I think the 2 week schedule is helping your quality increase. Especially considering I love guitar stuff being a guitarist myself, and that you spent more time doing this, I think this is one of your best works! More stuff like this please 😭
Another amazing arrangement! I love your work, and your alto saxophone sound is so good. Keep up the good work! Also, the guitars solos were excellent in this piece.
The thumbnail makes it look like you're about to cry.. but seriously man an amazing piece I can jam to this for a while. Always waiting for the next song :3

Does this mean what I think it does? My dreams may just come true this Saturday...

insaneintherainmusic - Carlos Eiene CRANIMAL ANROSSING??
The Narpsquad what is it?!
Awesome, you turned it into a MK8 track.
It'd have to be just a little bit faster to be MK8, haha... thank you for listening!
Yeah you're right, though it works great on 1.25 speed.
Burbin7995 it just works too amazingly on 1.25 speed
@@Burbin7995 omg it actually sounds great at 1.25!!
@@insaneintherainmusic They should put this in Cascade Kingdom-style course in MK9
This has a very end-credits feel. Listening to it feels like a satisfying end to a long journey. The original is from the second area in the game, and it feels like an exciting start to a long journey. I love the symmetry of that.
Ryan Ballantyne
Yiss
reminds me of mario 64's staff rolls
Kinda like Gusty Garden
Play at 1.25: Mario Kart 8 Track
Play at 1.5 at 5:15: Last Lap
“Super Mario Odyssey was filmed in front of a live studio audience”
You really captured (heh) the spirit of this piece. Awesome as ever!
Bad puns.. thank you!
Heh

Heh
why doesnt nintando just hire him already
That'd be sick!
Step 1: Graduate | Step 2: Tweet this playlist @Reggie "Please hire me." | Step 3: ??? | Step 4: Working on F-Zero Switch
Especially for smash. Ultimate is so lackluster.
Nintendo hates when talented people appreciate their work
Harry Willmore ?
I was grinding in this kingdom last night looking for every moon and coin, and this pops up! Thanks for making my day Carlos :D
You're very welcome! Thanks for being awesome :D

EWI arrangement inbound? ;)
insane! gotta love fusion jazz
Thanks dude :3
Heeeey! Mewmore, i love your remixes
Woah, Mewmore! I love your music.
gotta love the fusion of Mario and Jazz :)
I CAME AS SOON AS I HEARD
AND WHAT I JUST HEARD
*IS SOME GORGEOUS MUSIC*
Accidentally listened to it on 1.25 speed, and it sounded like a Mario Kart song. Keep up the good work.
Dussias and Kenny both nailed incredible solos. Plain destruction.Have to say though, the ending for Dussias' solo gave me goosebumps!!!
Haha, Sammy's pretty gnarly! I think there's a great contrast between the solos, though!
insaneintherainmusic - Carlos Eiene Do they have their own channels or any material out there that we can check out?
Man I would love a desk setup like Spiro's. Both guitar players had some really nice solos! This is quite wonderful.
Dude, me too. I would love a desk like that. And yeah! Both guitarists did an INCREDIBLE job with their solos, I couldn't have asked for anything better :)

Odyssey, sick Sammy shredding, and Insane
translation: games, guitar, guy
I absolutely love the feel you gave to this song, man! Very nicely arranged. These guitar solos too!!! :D
Thanks man! You did a great job with yours too, both fitting in different ways ;D
Cascade Falls
More like Basscade Falls, heh
Kill me now
I don’t even need to listen to your arrangement to know I’m already in store for fabulous content. Actually listening to the video just further proves my expectations.
Happy that you have that level of musical trust in me ;)
This might be your best work yet. I'm blown away by how good this is.
Thank you so much :D
T-square influence is sooooo excellent, this is a fantastic arrangement you've all done
Reminds me of Wuhu Island!
I didn't hear it until you said it but that is spot on. Switch Sports Resort when?
Speaking of which - has Carlos ever done a version of the Wii Sports Resort theme? Cos if not... I'd humbly suggest it :P
I'm glad you made it a fusion instead of pure jazz. Really makes it pop.Really reminds me of 3D World.
Yeah man! I think genre labels are more helpful for listeners rather than the musicians themselves. I don't really draw any sort of lines on whether something I make is jazz or not, but jazz is the closest genre that describes the types of things I do!

Thanks man! I love tasteful use of electric guitar outside of the context of hard rock or metal!
You're the TH-cam celebrity the world deserves. Well done!
You're too kind! Thanks for watching the video :)
These solos though. WAY TOOOOOOO GOOD! This is easily one of my favorites
Thanks for listening to it!
Bruh...this man Carlos done be an instrument HIMSELF
not sexual, just a compliment
+LifeAccordingToMando if I were an instrument what would my name be? Maybe the Carlophone?
insaneintherainmusic - Carlos Eiene
I'd say the Eienet
(similar to clarinet)
Lol
insaneintherainmusic or the carpet (Carlos + trumpet) lol
This is amazing. I cant stop listening
+RedoBlu thanks so much man! I really appreciate it :-)
That guy with the red guitar was so into it, love it. Great job!
He's so fun!
Patiently waiting for Wooded kingdom (Steam Gardens)😌😉
Yes pleaaaase!!!
Probably the best song in the game
I agree:)
YEESSSS
I guess I'll have to work that one in somehow...
I loved the blending of everyone's tone, this balancing is just perfect.
Thanks! It took a while to get the mix just right on this one, but I'm very happy with it :)
This and the main theme are actually two different songs, and this sorta leans in the direction of main theme imo. Besides that, this is amazing! Great job as always!

Brings back memories.
It was June 19, 2019, that day my brother and I beat the game and we were so happy and excited.
This is absolutely INSANE!!!! Those guitar rifts freaking blew me away. What an incredible arrangement!
man i love how well the guitar and sax sound blend together
I kid you not...your music has been the most listened music of all of my playlist and all music in general since last year!!! Thank you for these wonderful renditions. Your music gives me a lot of energy, good vibes and hope!
the flow and feel of this arrangement is just amazing - i listen to this all the time and i always get super happy when it plays when im on shuffle
Thanks for listening to it :D
that face at 5:15 tho xD ... but for real, the guitar solos give me life
Love the whole video, 5:50 some Coltrane stuff!
Awesome! I love hearing guitar in your arrangements! I've been loving the music in Odyssey, with my favorite probably being the Wooded Kingdom.
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY
Wow... this is honestly.... just wow....
Just got the game yesterday... Now I can really appreciate this jazz rendition even more. Great job, bro.
This sounds like it came right out of Mario Kart 8, but at this point I'm not sure if that's more a compliment or an insult to your talents! Absolutely amazing cover, I can't wait for more like this.
I take it as a compliment, haha!
This should be the credits song !!
thanks always great music coming from you literally my favorite place to get great and interesting covers faithful ones too
Thanks so much man
The guitarist killed it!
I️ haven’t even played this game but I️ feel a lot of super Mario galaxy vibes goin on and I️ love it
Oh yeah, the games are quite similar! This song in particular is very similar to Gusty Garden from Mario Galaxy.
The Narpsquad soundtrack not nearly as good as galaxy, some galaxy tracks had me crying when I listened to them again. Might happen for this game though because this video almost made me cry a
little.

Yo man the Bob Reynolds shirt!!! I love that guy so much.
I love the man!!!
Even though I love listening to this song on Spotify there’s just something about seeing you shake along to the music that gives it so much energy
Playing it in 1.25x speed is like a whole new feel for the track. It's insane. Good work guys!
This was such a joy to listen to! Keep on jazzin'!
Thanks for listening! Will do!
What a great thing to wake up to. Also... that bass line. Got me groovin’
That's the goal! Thanks man :)
I love this region. It's fun to restart the game and see how many different ways there were to explore this than you first realized :)
Or rather than restarting the game, go back to the area, but it is fun to have that tutorial esk feel and dominate the map. Idk. I'm weird
Love the duality of the sax and the red guitar! Gives the melody depth and color. It reminded me a lot of T-Square's Explorer where the sax and the lead guitar plays the exact melody note for note. That was beautiful! I'm listening to your music while working, it really helps to set the working mood for me)
Liked it before the vid started coz I knew it'd be great...
But I was wrong...
IT WAS SENSATIONAL!
That's something Tingle would say!
Maybe....I am Tingle...!
//throws confetti
Gosh, I knew Odyssey's jazz will be great, but not at that point ! Awesomely good cover once again Carlos ! ^o^
Thanks so much for listening :D
This are things that inspire me to keep learning music
5:15 That key change was so satisfying
Love everything about this arrangement.
Thank you so much :D
As always your music is amazing. It inspires me to keep playing my saxophone. Keep doing what do please, because its amazing
Thank you so so much :D
I love seeing you break out more of the Alto, amazing cover as always my dude! Keep on Rockin'!!!
Edit: DAMN!!! Those guitarists are astounding!!!!
This gives me so much nostalgia!
This makes me insanely happy
I love the facial expressions you make on the piano
Hey man, I get into playing!
For some odd reason this sounds like the opening of some sort golf tournament type music. I still love it :)
Carlos, this is masterful dude! I love the addition of Spiro and Kenny, and dude... can we talk about that epic key change? bruh!
Keep up the great work dude!
the solo sections were sick let's go
Thanks man! Great guitar work by Sammy & Kenny :)
The last third of that was absolutely right off my Kenny G CD. love it
thank you!!
Probally my favorite of your covers. Great job!
really, really liking the alto sax in these arrangements!
Thanks so much! Having a lot of fun playing alto :)
guitars killing it, but it's awesome to see you on an alto for a change! More please!
Thanks man! I've only got this alto for a few more weeks, so there won't be that much more alto unfortunately... I'll do my best to keep it up!
Awesome job, man! This was some great, mood raising music. Just what I needed at the end of the day!
Happy to please!
Thanks for the sheet music. I play this at school with my friend and some kids recognize it :D
*A M A Z I N G* work, AMAZING!!! I love this so much, please keep dishing out Mario Odyssey songs if you could!!
Maybe! I'd like to do the Wooded Kingdom or Shiveria at some point.
Either *wood* be awesome, but I'd definitely love to see *ice* er one. Alright I'm sorry you had to see that, don't hate me now kappa
I think the 2 week schedule is helping your quality increase. Especially considering I love guitar stuff being a guitarist myself, and that you spent more time doing this, I think this is one of your best works! More stuff like this please 😭
I agree! I'm working on ways to keep that quality up while still increasing the amount of stuff I can release on youtube!
This is a master piece and this is a great game too.
It has been a bit since I've listened to your stuff. It's great to see you still cranking out wonderful remixes!
Thanks for coming back, man! I appreciate it. I'm gonna keep on making these awesome videos until I can't make em any more :)
In 20 years this will be a classic Mario song
This is you have been helping me so much with study, so thank you very much for giving my work a soundtrack, and a damn good one at that.
Now do Bubblaine! I need some Bossa Nova/Jazz!
you need some...
Bubble Nova?
This is awesome! Great cover! Really captured that magic of Odyssey in this one!
thanks a bunch! the original song does that so well :)
Bruh those guitar solos though!!!
I know - they're so nuts. Much love to Kenny & Sammy for laying it down on this one!
it kinda give dolphin soals' vibe, as always awesome arrangements
Another amazing arrangement! I love your work, and your alto saxophone sound is so good. Keep up the good work! Also, the guitars solos were excellent in this piece.
Thanks so much for the kind words Barret!
THIS is how you celebrate 150k.
Here's to 850k more ;)
yo what how have i not heard this yet??? fucking sick solos mates
A fantastic arrangement from a fantastic game!
P.S. Congrats on 150k! 😆
Awesome! Sounds like early Frank Gambale albums (when he had that fluffy hair 😆)
The thumbnail makes it look like you're about to cry.. but seriously man an amazing piece I can jam to this for a while. Always waiting for the next song :3
More like I hit a nice chord or something.. haha
What up notification squad! :D
btw great job carlos ;)
Great stuff! I 100% agree with your comparison to Gusty Garden Galaxy. Delicious guitar shredding in this piece, and I dig the 60 BPM shirt!
Thanks Danny! Shirt comes from Bob Reynolds' channel!
Amazing cover, yet again, dude. It's brilliant.
My hat is off to you~ 👌🎷
That guitar player sounds just like Jun from the Sonic Adventure series OST's!!! Congrats!!
I'm here smiling ear to ear!!!
I appreciate it, dude :3
Both of those guitar solos were fantastic; it's like I was listening to MintJam or something.
Thanks! Both of the guys did such a great job with their solos :)
Thanks for sharing the sheet music! Great writing and playing :)
Very captivating rendition!
Thanks!
