She was a lot of good things and her story in particular, breaks my heart in thousand pieces. Her father left her Her mother died in a fire when she was 5. She was obligated to train injured She begged to stop, no one listen She knew, she did not have the strenght to make that salt. They take advantage of her out of this world talent. The life was sooo unfair with her
Elena la chica de la mirada triste La amo, también a Nadia y ahora que voy conociendo a más gimnastas antiguas Natalia también; se veían bien inocentes estos videos. Incluso el de los entrenamientos. Eran unas niñas
"Coaches need to understand that they are training with kids that can't handle situations, than even adults couldn't". "When I beat Nadia, I knew that everything was going to became a nightmare" "My coach said gymnast like you can't break their neck" "I begged them to not removed my cast by they kept dragging me to the training". "I don't blame my coach, he was a victim too" "If someone comes and feels sorry for me, is kicked out of my house" ELENA MUKHINA She was sooo brave
Por cierto he visto que esta rutina con varias gimnastas ya no la hacen hoy en día o si? Y que joya encontrar estos videos en español, los he visto en otros idiomas
I don't care what ANYBODY sais, Elena Mukhina wil always be THE BEST. Her programs were soooo much more harder, original, bold, strong and more. However we will never see another Elena or another Nadia again but when you see all the gymnast of that era, especially Russians, you can see how clearly overrated Nadia was.The jury was under the pressure of Rumania leaders and the Soviets, were harmed, especially during the cold war Elena and Nadia were like Maradona and Pele
Elena was a gymnastics angel! Very sad what happened to her! She is fondly remembered!
