Okay, I previously said Within You Without You / Tomorrow Never Knows was the weirdest song in the game, but I completely forgot about this one. This is weird for different, more playful and silly reasons, though. Who doesn't love this song?
There's a movie about someone who becomes a walrus, it's called "Tusk". Don't even look it up, just watch it.

I remember in my music studies class in college where we had to decipher the meaning of this song. I legit fell for the bait because I tried so damn hard figuring out the message behind it. I was talking about the economic depression, police brutality, and god know what ever the hell my head was conjuring up only for the professor to tell me that some songs have no meaning and he just wanted to get a laugh at what his students can think of.
funny thing is that's what John did. He was fed up with people trying to figure out what their lyrics meant so he made this and people still tried to figure it out XD

Ah yes this song here, it’s mainly just about nothing, John Lennon once got a letter from a student who had a teacher that made the students analyze deeply about the meaning behind nearly every single Beatles song up to this point and the student was annoyed about it, thus this give John the idea to make I am the Walrus about nothing just to troll the Teacher

At all times, Lennon adored this song along with "Strawberry Fields Forever" from the Album: "Magical Mystery Tour"
Lennon plays with words about this song but one of the lines refers to his song: "Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds" by Sgt. Peppers.
Curious fact:
- The references in the chorus to the "walrus" came from a poem by Lewis Carroll, poems that Lennon had always adored, entitled "The Walrus and the Carpenter" and included in the book: "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There". This poem is essentially about a walrus who leaves the carpenter without oysters, eating them all herself and getting fat.
- It was released as B-side of "Hello Goodbye", something that John Lennon was very annoyed that it was B-side
- Another important element in the song is the mention of "Element'ry penguin singing Hare Krishna". This was referring to the poet Allen Ginsberg, a character who had the habit of chanting the Hare Krishna mantra at all public events he attended.

This song is probably the weirdest in the game on its own merit, but I still think WYWY/TNK is the weirdest in terms of song choice. At least with I Am The Walrus, it's one of their biggest songs so it's kind of an obvious pick for the game, but a random mashup track from a mashup album released a good few decades after the band's split is a much weirder choice for the game in my opinion

They came out with a Beatles version of Rockband a while back. I’m assuming you can get it on an emulator if you have the guitar to play with as well. The playstation versions work with PC.

John Lennon was inspired by Lewis Carroll when he was writing the lyrics, but the reason why he wrote it in the first place is because he was fed up with people over analyzing his lyrics and trying to find hidden meanings that aren’t there. According to one of John’s friends, when he finished the song he said “Let the fuckers figure that one out.”
