Great video! We'll be visiting Mystras in september, we're doing a Peloponnese road trip. I actually spotted the hotel I booked at 2:18 on the left, the Mystras Inn
Great video you two. It's fun to follow your adventures. You are a heck of a long ways away from POP, but it's been hot here too! We are looking forward to your next chapter!
I can’t believe how hot it was! We where there from June 5-19, 2021 and I think we got out just has the heat really kicked in. New subbie and just binged all your videos ☺️
Great to see your video, I’m an old guy I’ll be there in April .my plan is to stay in Sparta and get a taxi to somewhere near the top of the ruins and make my way down. My question is…is the inhabited village far from the bottom of the ruins? As I was thinking I could get a taxi or a bus back to Sparta from the village. Thanks
Good for you!! You could make arrangements with the cab driver who drops you off, to pick you up later (or get their contact info). There's a very small town at the base of Mystras and the cafe owners seemed to speak a lot of English. I'm sure one of them would be willing to call a cab for you (especially if you ate something while you waited 😉). Enjoy Mystras!! (It's very steep!)
@@TalesFromOurPocket hi I’m home from Greece and Mystras was in my top 3 places along with Monamvasia and Meteora. I went in April May so heat wasn’t a problem.
THANKS FOR WATCHING!

We were there the second half of June. We've never experienced heat like that before!! I hope you loved Greece!
Istanbul is a Greek word to the city. Εις την Πόλη. We always refer to konstantinopole as the πόλη city
Thanks!!
