It is my pleasure to bring you the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 Remastering Project, an undertaking of mine dedicated to bringing one of my all-time favorite video game soundtracks to a new life. It is my belief that this music--composed by Arata Iiyoshi, Hideki Sakamoto, Keisuke Ito, Ryoma Nakamura and Ken-ichi Saito--deserves to be listened to and enjoyed by more than just the people who play, or have played, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. It is a truly beautiful and widely appreciated collection of music, however with a limited potential due to the confines by which it is bound: a Nintendo DS cartridge. My goal for this project is to bring each track in the game to life by means of remastering, and in some cases reorchestrating, to the best of my ability, while at the same time preserving the natural charm that lies within them.

Oh hell yeah, didn't realize this project was back. I'd only found it after it was like six years into its hiatus so I figured I was just never gonna hear a new PMD RMP2 track.
Spent a ton of time here grinding for xp so I could graduate from the guild. Back then I didn't know how to use items... good times!

I was honestly expecting the music from the building itself, not the actual default dungeon theme lol. Very nice beat though!
Always had a strange liking for this song, the background melody is definitely what carries it. I wouldn't willingly listen to the RT version of this for more than 2 minutes, but the Explorers version adding that for some reason turns it into a stupidly catchy theme.
This time the beats seems to hard for this relax song xD

Regardless of how you think the percussion is levelled I'm baffled at the the notion that Marowak Dojo is a "relaxed track", lmfao
Its one of the most upbeat songs in the game that plays in a dojo, where you train for XP. It's quite literally designed to be a workout track. Of course I'm gonna make the percussion super high-energy and powerful--a track to work out to.
Dark Wasteland, on the other hand, is actually mostly a relaxed track despite it's setting, and the percussion barely has a snare. I'm gonna fit the percussion to the soundscape as closely as I can in each case, and that's just how I envisioned it for either track
Sorry for going off--it's okay to have different opinions on this kind of thing, music is very subjective! I'm just stunned at that opinion in particular, lol.
