Holy shit guys, 16volt have just made all their old albums available as free downloads at their website!!! Spread the word, they're doin it so that there's more then 100 people in the world that know they exist!
My skin is opaque Like white seaweed Shallow and weak I have no feeling See through me (nothing ever makes it through) See through me (even though i promised it) Most worthless shell Like a ghost in a dream Cantisending life Like satin white sheath Can I ask you something? Do you see me near you? Slowly going over it Alkali You make it all clear Nothing makes it better You make it all clear Nothing makes…
actually whisper cure is an album, (and yes also being a song that was also in that album), I think it came out in 2002, but it had the dreams that rot in your heart, skin, wisdom, and I believe a different version of this song.
This song originally appeared on The Official Primal Combat Soundtrack. 16volt did the whole soundtrack. It kicks much ass. You can find the link at their website. Go to the STORE link
@venomousprime actually this is demo version of Alkali which was put into SCN 2.0. The true version in APS is the newer version, cleaner and mixed thoroughly.
Oh, ok, that shows for me that good informed fans are still a better source of information than wikipedia!!! Wiki is saying something else, I don't even remember what...
The Info is not really correct. Whisper Cure is a song found in their album "Full Black Habbit" but Alkali is not found in this album. Alkali can be found in their album "American Porn Songs". Anyway, it's a great song!
i'm new to industrial type music, and coming from a metal/rock background, this is awesome!! i enjoy a lot of kraftwerk, anyone know good dark-industrial music?
@gorkysire agreed. I was disappointed with APS cause FBH was amazing. They didn't need to redo this song though, cause the newer version isn't as good.
@streloch Where exactly are you getting this information? Wikipedia and 16Volt's official website contradict you completely. Not trying to be a jerk or anything, just curious as to where you're pulling this from. The picture used in the video is the album artwork from Skin(1994) with Alkali added to it. The only album that they put out in 2002 was SuperCoolNothing V2.0
@gorkysire yeah that was a good song. Still it is a good album but I think Eric could have done a lot better....we did wait ages for another 16volt album to come out....it feels rushed.
Everyone has their own opinions about which album is better than this one which was better than that one... but really they are just peoples personal thoughts.
Oh primal, I will always remember you for introducing me to 16 volt.
So very damn true!
+Nickolas Lindberg same
facts
Damn that chorus is fucking sick, great song, primal is probably the most underrated game on ps2, many good memories with that game 👌

This is easily the best 16volt song in Primal. Next to Suffering You at least.
Agreed!
I agree with you :-)
why isnt this band making millions?
ALKALI!!! I LOVE 16volt!!!!
yes probab their best song. this heavy version i love too much. slow tempo and heavy guitar sound + awsome vocal
Personally I think the other version is the better
This is like the version from Primal, which is my favorite. :)
Damn...this is totally my type of band and I'm just now hearing them WTF
I love this song. ^^ But I recently learned about "Alkali-metals", so every time we have nature studies at school, this song pops up in my head. xD
No kidding 💀💀💀
these guys started great and they are still great.
This song is badass
My skin is opaque
Like white seaweed
Shallow and weak
I have no feeling
See through me

One of the best bands ever! I love 16Volt! XD
Will always be the Primal battle music for me :D
Cool mix of Filter & Deftones vibes.
OMFG I love 16 Volt only because I heard them on Primal
>.>
16 Volt are the best! and primal is the coolest game ever! :P I can't get enough of this song!!
Amazing song.

Any industrial metal suggestions that are similar to 16volt and Stabbing westward ?
THIS is the version that I could listen to for days! The APS version is way too quick and is rather dull.
01:35 greatness!

The Info is not really correct. Whisper Cure is a song found in their album "Full Black Habbit" but Alkali is not found in this album. Alkali can be found in their album "American Porn Songs". Anyway, it's a great song!

poopsnack, swansevere, and KUROGUY - second that!
MansonNiles11 - smart move in getting both.
raw!!!
Alkali is off of American Porn Songs, "Whisper Cure" is a song off FullBlackHabit. Might wanna fix that in the description.
@xoFireFliiox Same here. I played that game waiting for their music to come on. Haha.
Are these guys still around by the way?
Did Whisper Cure even exist? I can't find anything written about it on Wikipedia and nothing on discogs, no cover art at all. Was this unreleased?
yeah youve got a point i actually didn't like the new album too much... i like the rawness of this version.
@gorkysire agreed. I was disappointed with APS cause FBH was amazing. They didn't need to redo this song though, cause the newer version isn't as good.
the first song on their new album has the same name as this song... is it the same one????
"american porn songs" is an album that grows on you the more that u hear it! I love the record and everything else made by 16 VOLT!
Holy shit, I never even knew this track existed and it's brilliant! How did u get it/find it?
@humislair 0:00-3:39 = greatness
Oh my god, I love this song and I only heard it on the fighting music on Primal. YAY I FOUND IT!!! FUCKING 16 VOLT FOREVER ^.-.^
@streloch Where exactly are you getting this information? Wikipedia and 16Volt's official website contradict you completely. Oh...this is SCN 2.0 Alkali. Sounds pretty raw
@BastetTheCatGodess demonise ^^ I used it after completing the game :D Still what do you reckon happens to Lewis at the end?
i bet this band would be better well known if they got WWE to make one of there songs a PPV theme
@starsfire6 the pumpkins were ok this sounds more like tool mixed with nine inch nails
LOL deftones meet linkin park, this shit HARDLY rocks
dude i can imagine. they should put this on the next tony hawk game LOL
Ignore the turd burgling thing. wrong page....SORRY!
i think there self distributing if i recall why there not making millions
ya they should have..
I'm not sure it doesn't say on wiki so I don't know
@RapedRussianDoll i bet this band would make millions if they made a deal with WWE and got theme to make one of there songs a PPV theme
@gorkysire yeah that was a good song. Still it is a good album but I think Eric could have done a lot better....we did wait ages for another 16volt album to come out....it feels rushed.
@hellchild65 i know skinny puppy nd kmfdm. listening to ministry now, and they're pretty f**cking awesome!!
fuck me this song is so fucking sick :p it reminds me of Primal too :)
reminds me more of stabbing westward than deftones.but i can definetly see that comparison too.
Everyone has their own opinions about which album is better than this one which was better than that one... but really they are just peoples personal thoughts.
there's a better version of this song on the new album "AmericanPornSongs"
saw them in a small dive bar after full black habit and they were pretty unapproachable. damn good music tho
What did you need to approach them for exactly? Are you a mailman?
I actually got to hang out with 16Volt in 2011. Very approachable and generous.
@U9301 all i know is i liked supper cool nothing....but that's just me.
XD!!!!!!!!!
ummmm no its in it
@dontforkwitme lol and in fact waaaaaaay better than Linkin Park on a HUGE and i mean HUGE scale!
@dontforkwitme - And given everything after Meteora are a much better band.
because todays music standards are shit...
