Got the same style bag but I set up its contents differently. Water bottle holder on the side molle. Its elastic and compresses flat so when not in use its out of the way. Keep hygiene items on the outer pocket because I don't want to go into the main pocket with crap on my hands from a door knob. Thats usually a pack of tissues, rubber gloves and some antibacterial wetwipes in a ziplock for ease of pulling it out. admin pocket has stuff like lighter, mini notebook, pen (which is just a cut down Bic nothing fancy), SAK, keys, flashlight, spoof wallet for robbers with a couple of bucks. Interior main pocket: I put everything but my fire tablet in a womans makeup bag with a zipper. Its grey so not so gay and it has a fabric pull handle with a mini heroclip for hanging off a table or chair. That has my headlamp, extra batteries, flashlight part deux, a snack (usually a beef jerky or three), Instant coffee packet, spork, chopsticks, hair tie for the wife, mini boo boo kit.
My most common use for MOLLE loops on the back of my packs is to attach reflective arm/leg bands to make me visible when in and around city traffic! Being OCD the color of my reflective bands determines who’s pack it is and if it is a primary, secondary or tertiary bag! It takes seconds to remove it and be non reflective/woods ready!
There’s so many types of edc, but the majority of us carry edcc (Everyday carry comfort). This includes electronic gears, snacks, and overall gears that makes us comfortable away from home. I’ve elevated my gears to include an alcohol cook set that takes no space at all.
I'm with you on the tablet carry... have you seen the Samsung Tab active 5 ? 8" screen, waterproof, SD card expandable, sim slot +5g stylus and removable battery. If your phone breaks, you can put the sim into the tablet. All the best 👍
Thanks for sharing. I have 4 different bags. The small one goes with me everywhere, everyday, but stays in my vehicle until I get home. On a regular day, I don't travel any further than 13 miles from my home on a peninsula. Like everyone else, I can gear up heavier, depending on distance, season/weather conditions and political climate. Also being an active CERT member in our county, I have quite a bit of other equipment if an emergency rescue or disaster hits and the big boys can't get to us quickly.
I’m done with stuffing my pockets and carry a sling bag EDC. Similar to yours and it’s perfect. My SIG is always on me, but the bag may stay in the truck while I’m in the store.

I did similar, but alcohol to drink (I may have a problem).

I actually saved my husband's life just by having dispersible aspirin. Stopped his heart attack. So yes please carry 300mg of dispersible aspirin.
I enjoyed it , since i have been following you from years , didn't you forget a emergency blanket or perhaps you forget to mention it.

I keep a proper NBC (CBRN) Facelet with potassium iodide tabs in my EDC. Nice PROTREK 😉
I would put a plastic poncho or 2 in there and some hand/face wipes.
