Once someone says something to Lisa she can never forgive them, she holds the biggest grudges
máté and yet she is dismissive everytime someone calls her out on her wrongs. She expects people to get over her shortcomings quickly but she expects them to jump through hoops when they have wronged her. Her hypocrisy leaves me dumbfounded.
I remember Kyle once said the only thing Lisa would ever hold on to more than Jiggy is her grudges.

And Adrienne was right to be scared of Lisa, because after that, Lisa destroyed Adrienne’s marriage.
Adrienne was shading Lisa so Lisa needed a reason to destroy Adrienne. Lisa sold the story -> Adrienne confronted (insulted) her -> Lisa, using Brandi, destroyed Adrienne’s marriage.

Here we see LVP in all her glory.
The real housewives franchise is a beautiful documentary on the power struggles inherent in the hierarchical societal interactions between women and LVP is the reigning queen. To reach the top is a blood sport and Lisa may be called calculating and manipulative (because she certainly is) and perhaps even cold but she's absolutely the most adept player in the game that I've ever seen. Watching her make Adrienne grovel was special kind of high. It fills me with evil glee to think that she may have even been the one responsible for selling the story... but either way she out-manoeuvred Adrienne by forcing her to acknowledge that because she has no proof it must be considered to be a baseless accusation. Poor Adrienne really squirmed and Lisa was only as magnanimous as she had to be.
Delicious.

James lol believe me I don’t revere her, I wouldn’t even let her in my life. But this is a sporting event; they’re all narcissists on this show and they know the game they’re playing. It’s like how watching boxing is very different from watching an assault on the street, even if it seems to amount to the same thing. It’s only acceptable if both parties are knowingly competing for the same prize.
In life I would never play this game, but it’s fun to watch.
And don’t pity Adrienne, she “recognized she was wrong” only because she was forced to. She made a power move and it was turned back on her. Given her wealth and power and family connections I would bet that typically her accusation would be damaging enough and would not be effectively countered. I’m sure she’s usually been the victor in these power struggles. That’s what makes it even better.

You can tell LVP is basking in her matriarch role. This was the season where she was at her peak where everyone was on her side and knew how to play everyone. Now (season 8) she holds back. Shes not as funny as she used to be.

Adrienne said in the reunion of season 2 that she had *heard* from an unknown journalist that allegedly LVP sold them stories. I just think it’s weird Adrienne would believe a random journalist over her OWN friend. Plus she was not afraid to throw punches, but when push came to shove she didn’t take any responsibility in my opnion🤷♀️
Maybe the theatrics of the show got to her? They're all players in a game on this show, but for most people, you cant keep that up. Others thrive under it, but for most Id say at some point you need to get out.
She tried to guilt trip her even more AFTER she apologised. Lisa has evil running thru her. She loved the fact she got an apology but STILL had to mention how hurt she was and upset to make Adrienne feel worse even after she had got what she wanted. She also loved the fact she had the power to make her feel uncomfortable, her eyes were glowing

To be honest, if someone accused me of selling stories, defaming my character, and having other people turn against me when I know I did not do it, I would make them work for it. I’m not going to be dumb and think ok let get back to how we were just because you say sorry. Your actions thereafter will have to prove that your apology was genuine. I would tread very carefully. They tried to play me and I’m not going to be played twice by them.

Ive only started watching the show and my immediate favourite was Lisa. Yes, she may be manipulative but I think everyone in the show is. I mean, what is the point of this show if there is no drama and divas?? Lisa is a business woman.. and this show was another business venture. She is calculating, yes, but intelligent. Why show your full vulnerability to millions of people when you know how to control the narrative?
When your life is beautiful with the people you live around , and sometimes people see that they demonized your relationships to people and then It’s life there are no perfect friendship anyway sometimes people screwed up and you can’t put back the broken pieces and you have to live with it wether you forgive or not and just move on and continue your life knowing that you screwed up or been screwed up ...
