That main guy his name is Christian Yu aka DPR Ian and he was the one who edited and directed this mv. And he is also a singer, rapper and director. And he's Australian/Korean just like Felix and Bangchan from Stray Kids. You guys should definitely take the chance to check out his music. 😊
IU has a huge discography. There is a song for every mood and every album by her are in different zoner. Her thoughtfulness is on another level.
I'd say it is time for you two to discover the world of DPR IAN 😂 He was originally an idol from C-Clown, and later he created DPR (dream perfect regime) with his friends DPR Live and DPR Cream. They're a group of incredibly talented artists. Ian himself was a film maker, music video producer, and editor for the company! He then debuted with "So Beautiful". I also recommend his short film "MIITO movie part 1" which features four songs off his album.
His works reflect on his mental illnesses (bipolar and dissociative identity), so the imagery of his videos can get pretty dark

IU does rock any and ALL looks. She is the female lead in Hotel Del Luna (Netflix) where in 16 Episodes she has no less than 80 different outfits (including hair styles though the differences in hair style at times are slight) but no look is ever doubled up. I have read that she had a wardrobe allowance of $10,000 per episode. Of course this isn't the only reason for watching it, if you have not yet watched it. And her grand acting drama is My Mister (Netflix). Which is how I actually 1st came across her. She so captivated me in the very 1st episode that I would go to bed still worrying about her.
The sound track in both ofvthose dramas are very good. IU wrote one song for My Mister, Dear Moon, but doesn't perform it in the drama. In Hotel Del Luna she does sing one song in the last episode.

Firstly, the introduction. I really like the narration and the colors as if it were the beginning of a film. The accompaniment truly feels like a movie soundtrack... and with the addition of IU's unique voice, it tickles even more and feels like cotton candy. In the scene where she gets into the car, the music is muffled for a moment, but that's my personal directing preference. I'm so happy as a fan of DPR IAN and IU that this crossover happened! It looks like they had a lot of fun filming this amazing music video and I'm so happy! Big well deserved props to Ian for creating this masterpiece of a video to match IU's amazing music and vocals!!!❤👏👏

I'm still new to him but you'll probably be familiar to if you know the viral dance challenge "Don't go Insane" basically the belt choreo..he sang that song and I kid you not that man is super talented..he makes his own MVs and it's honestly art..you should check him out((:

This is a song about shoppers sweeping up what they want depending on their own preferences and standards, in a store that never closes. What they put into their shopping carts is very personal. It might seem either too trivial or excessive, perhaps bizarre, or not that valuable to others, or to the rest of the world. However, these shoppers couldn’t care less. They are simply satisfied by putting their desires and preferences in their shopping carts and pay close attention to find out what makes them happy to choose exactly what they want.
In this store, the shopper himself/herself attaches the price tag for the value of what he/she desires. Whether that option is valuable or not is solely decided by the shopper.
What I put in my cart as a shopper are the emotions and moments I experienced at my ‘The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun’ concert in 2022. During the concert, I experienced a strong feeling of desire for ambitions that were somewhat unfamiliar to me. The two-day concert, which I put on while being in a slightly burnout state at work, completely turned upside down the theme and vibe of this album, which I had been preparing in advance, as well as my energy while working on it. Temporarily putting behind me what was easy and comfortable, I wanted to challenge myself by pouring (t/n: everything I had into it) once again. It was the audience of that hot night that made everything clear in my mind, when I was delaying the completion of my album by circling around the same spot without acknowledging that I was burnt out.
The sound of tens of thousands of people entering (t/n: my soul) clearly, like the voice of one person, awakened fresh ambitions in me. I crammed the courage and overwhelming emotions I experienced back then into this song. This time, I hope my voice will give listeners of this song ‘the courage to be confident about what you want’. //
This is an Electro-Pop Rock track with a powerful sound. With a cool guitar sound as the base, various transitions provide constant stimulation to the ears. Throughout the song, IU’s vocals go back and forth between exercising restraint and letting go, creating a fun listening experience like a fizzy drink popping in one’s head. The FX sources added to the song give it a lively atmosphere and add to the excitement like shopping in a market.

DPR IAN is a creative. He's a part of Dream Perfect Regime (DPR) which he founded too i think. DPR is a crew of artists(rappers, singers, producers, directors, editors) who make all of their content, DPR IAN also releases his own songs and directs and edits most of DPR's music videos.
You guys should check out DPR IAN's songs and mvs, they're very cinematic and dramatic lol.

It's definitely time for you guys to check out DPR Ian, it would be such a natural progression from watching this! His music is extremely beautiful and unordinary and he, without a doubt, has the best music videos period. Just like how he directed, edited, and colored Shopper, he does all the same for his own music videos (as well as being the sole producer 95% of his music).
