- In part 7 of our diesel stepside rebuild, we get all the internal parts into the doors and get the cab (sort of) sealed up finally.

This is my approach to working on my '56 Belair 2 door hardtop. I appreciate your hard work on these videos.
This is some good stuff, I'm surprised you don't have more views on these videos especially with this unique build which is why I started watching you in the first place.
Thanks! I’d like more views, but I always figured I was too boring to be too popular :). But it’s hard to get views these days on TH-cam at all so I’m thankful for what I get!
@@wrenchwranglers yeah I understand that completely, this is a really cool build and I'm sure by the end you're going to be getting a lot more views, it's a diesel swapped square body, who wouldn't love this. Probably just the crappy TH-cam algorithm, I know it took me forever to find your videos again after I watched the first video on this truck, just searching for it I couldn't get anything and I had to dig through my watch history to find the video.
Im getting excited to see this beast back on the road!
I feel like the original tinted wing windows would fit the door better. Who knows. 🤷♂️
When I rebuild them (again) I may get the glass frames and seals for the early style. Then we can know for certain. Hopefully I manage to get glass frames that are higher quality.
I think ford did wings better i have a buddy with a few squarebodys and had the same issue
Almost all of the ford wings I have seen or owned are indeed better designed. They worked smoother and shut tighter. I guess GM skimped on the ‘ole wing window department back in the day
