Hi there Peepaw! Greetings from good old Mexico! I've done what you're showing regarding to testing motor outputs UVW against P and N terminals with multimeter in diode mode. However, I once was testing a Fanuc drive and it tested good and yet there was an overcurrent alarm. It occurred to me to test IGBTs in resistance mode in 20 Megohm scale and there it was, one IGBT showed about 20Kohms between one motor output and P terminal. Supposedly, these collector to emitter readings should exhibit a few Megohms to infinity with diode reversed biased, and a few hundred kohms with diode forward biased as the other IGBTs did. I replaced the module and problem solved. The question is, are ALL IGBTs supposed to exhibit such high readings across collector and emitter? Great job as always in testing this Freqrol drive. Ya da man!
hola soy nuevo en eso del con trol industrial .. diría homero its my firts day !!! .. se puede probar este equipo con 3 fases de 120v .. pues creo que dice 3 fases de 220 y pues en México necesitaría un trasformador para ello .. MI pregunta es puedo probarlo asi? gracias
@@kakalderonborolas4646 Recuerde que en México si tiene 220V entre fases, entonces tiene 127V entre cualquier fase y neutro. Si su drive está diseñado para trabajar con voltaje trifásico de 208V a 230V no debería haber problema. Por otro lado, si usted es principiante, le sugiero que busque gente que trabaje con drives en su localidad para evitar cualquier contratiempo. Si no tiene experiencia y no está familiarizado con su sistema de voltaje, eso puede ser muy peligroso para usted.
@@rafaellarios3707 gracias por la respuesta el equipo dice 380 -480 .. ósea si es lo que pensaba que me quedo corto en la alimentación para probarlo .. Es que aquí en pueblo quieto tarda en venir la persona 1 mes o 2 meses .. y como soy el único ingeniebro por aquí me traen tarjetas a reparar .. pero este solo me dijeron que marca alarma pero no me dieron el código de error y según mis pruebas está bien ..por eso quiero conectarlo para ver qué mensaje me arroja ... si ante todo respeto a la electricidad ... gracias

I have a very interesting problem on the control panel, it shows the consumed current three times more than the clamp shows, and the acceleration ramp is automatically lowered, because the sensible protection is triggered.thanks a lot
