Interesting video. Drove past my old house in Chapel just before you got to the roundabout going to Sparrowpit. The road through Sparrowpit is on the way to my grandma's house in Great Longstone. All distant memories now though.
This video delivers! As I watched it, about the time that you really got out into the countryside, I was thinking to myself "the only thing missing here are sheep hearders", and then BAM. Sheep! 😀
haha and it surprised me too while I was driving it. I'm not used to seeing Sheep herders, it's all cows and horses where l live so that was a new thing for me to see.
I’m glad you enjoyed my countries rural roads, next time you come, go further up north to an area called the Lake District and if you like cheese go to the Hawes Creamery in Wensleydale. :) I’m going on a skiing trip to Banff near Calgary in January. I’ve always enjoyed my trips to Canada.
Great video. If you want to slake your thirst for videos of Britain, check out the TH-cam series, "All the Stations" by Geoff Marshall and Vicki Pipe. They are an engaged couple that visited every railway station in Great Britain and filmed a documentary about their journey. Mr. Marshall also put up some videos of the journey on his channel, too.
oh yes, Geoff Marshall. At first I wasn't familiar with the name when you mentioned him, but actually I recognize him. He hosts that "Londonist" youtube channel; I watch that a lot actually.
You should really have called this "England Series". If you want an actual good drive, try the A7 from Edinburgh to Longtown over the border. If there's a better drive in the UK for scenery, I haven't found it. When the sun actually comes out, that is.
HopfFibration well i do plan to cover Scotland next year, so this UK series will cover more than England eventually. I’ll make a note of your A7 suggestion, thanks.

thanks for watching, my drives while in the uk were quite magically to me. loved every minute of driving throughout the countryside
Beautiful landscape, looks like it was a fun drive.
yeah i'm glad I cut through the Peak District. I wanted to get some non motorway drives in.

Pretty landscape, great DJ mix.
Thanks, took me awhile to find the tracks I wanted to use too, I wanted to find some specific more mellow-progressive tracks in the 115-120 bpm range.

yes I'll keep that recommendation to the Lake District in mind for next year.

I'll be in Scotland in 4 weeks. I'll take up your suggestion and drive the A7.
Next time you go there can you make a point to meet David Icke?
i'm guessing he lives around there?
