Great video! I would like to make a suggestion, a lot of people are not familiar with Excel and don't know that they don't need to type every number. You only need to type two numbers and then select the two cells and drag down. For example type 1, 2, select the cells then draw down. The following numbers will automatically be entered on the following cells. Excel is a great tool. You can find some great Excel for beginners videos on TH-cam.

When I restarted selling on ebay and really increased my inventory I was trying to figure out where to store my merchandise. First I emptied my basement and set that up. I soon ran out of space and did not want to rent a storage unit. I also did not want to expand my business into my house. I do not have a garage so I got a huge, and I mean huge metal shed from Amazon. Everything is nice and neat stored in it from new merchandise to shelves. If anyone is thinking of doing this with a shed, you need to understand any shed, especially a metal shed will get condensation and humidity will be your enimy unless you live in a very dry climate. I set up a huge dehumidifier and run it to keep the moisture levels low. A shed was a better solution for me since the cost of renting a storage unit and the time wasted driving to get to it was not worth it. I use the same uline boxes. The key to anything is to be as efficient as possible. I even hired my young son and pay him. It helps when it comes to paying my taxes and it helps him with extra money in his pocket.

Hi Blackbaloth
I leave the item in these clear bags when I ship them.
your videos are very helpful as always. A quick remark? i noticed you dont seal/ tape up your clear bags. is that something you do when before you ship them when they are sold or you dont tape them up at all ?
Hi Moorish Warrior,
I don't seal them up.
After the 2nd time if that strip of plastic sticking to my hand I stopped sealing them. Only time I do is if the buyer mentions waterproof in that case I do and I tape over the seal of the poly mailer.
Great question
Ha that strip of plastic sticking is annoying
@@maxdawson2948 The worse 🤣
Great video
What shelving units did you buy or use?
I'll make a note to link them but they are the medium size Husky racks. 76" I believe. And I add an additional rack to get 5 shelves.
@@TaylorExchange Thank you.
This is probably unrelated but...wondering if you can help: all my computer settings are correct for thermal printer but theyre printing sideways etc. All threads on subject are outdated,no longer apply. I cannot find a place to change Ebay settings. Hoping you...or anyone reading this can help. Please help me. ♡
Hey Jackie, fun fact my previous job was repairing commercial copiers. I definitely can help with your printer settings. DM me on Instagram and we can set up a time later this week to resolve your issue.
Hey old friend!!
Hey Eric, how have you been?
@@TaylorExchange bruh doing ok. Had to start over my eBay store so it’s slow goin!
@@flippineric3719 Dang, ya I'm going to have to pull down some items to liquidate and have a yard sale.
@@TaylorExchange that’s been a yearly thing for me!! I’m just getting most of my inventory back. Going to liquidate as well
What size bags do you use?
Hey Nancy
I use 9"x12"
I have them linked in the description!
@@TaylorExchange hey I will get 9 x 12, what do you use for pants, sweatshirts etc? do you pack light coats too in bags? curious...all our clothes are on hangers right now and I NEED to swtich over to your method...also do you wash the clothes you buy (as long as they don't have new tags?) Iron etc?
@@lisalange4922 We have the a slightly bigger clear bag I think I have it linked but we run 1-2 washes a week not 100% of items. Never iron anything unless it’s a $100+ item.
Goat
Another Sean is always welcomed.
Idk about goat but it’s working.
@@TaylorExchange I’m also a full time reseller. Currently I have been selling everything without a niche. Looking to break into clothing. I was in “the group”.. I’ll be honest it’s overdone imo. Lots of good info in there but your videos are down to earth and to the blunt point. To many people try to think listing need to be insane.. i like to keep it simple. Binging your videos currently. I’m sure I’ll have some questions for you.
Team Sean!
@@seanjohnson487 Right on man, I usually answer relatively fast. I am thankful for the work Chris and Tech have done but I just watched a lot of the videos Chris posted along with the first part of the podcast they release to TH-cam. I mainly consumed that content during 2021 and the first part of 2022. Now I focus on some other content.
Couldn't you just use USPS boxes as they are free. I believe it is illegal as you're only suppose to use them to ship. But who's gonna know.
That’s on you Rusty.
