This March I visited Japan for the first time and one night in Tokyo, I went to Mogra, looking forward to some inspired, genre-defying electronic music. I did not know what to expect. I did not know Toriena yet. The guitar set up surprised me at first, but what followed was an amazing, very memorable performance. It absolutely blew my mind. When I got back to my hotel, I went and found you on TH-cam. Even now that I've gotten to know your music better and enjoy it a lot, this track is still surprising... uniquely beautiful shoegaze with just the right amounts of noise and tenderness. What an incredibly creative artist. Thank you for your hard work, thank you for your unique, inspiring music!
Love this. I feel like she's time traveling through eras and genres of music... 80s chiptune, early 90s techno/rave, now mid-90s indie rock. Personally, i'm hoping late 90s Goth or Industrial is next.
At first I wasn’t sure the album was my style of music because the genre was so different, but I absolutely fell in love as usual. Amazing work, everything you produce is excellent. I hope you never stop making albums. :-D
