A great tip if you lose the end of like a roll of tape for the nail art you run your nail free edge around the tape for nail art and your free Edge part of your nail will catch on the lip of the tape for nail art. One other trick to do would be, to fold the edge of the tape or nail art back an press the tape down onto the roll.... ✌👍😁😁 Hope I dnt seem stupid for messaging you this. I love the gold colour on the free hand quilted nail but love the neatness of the stripping tape.... but I hate stripping tape!! I get in a big mess with it, it getting stuck every where and always loose the end every two seconds!! 😤

I love this design! Very elegant, as usual. 👍 I prefer the taped version over the freehand; "Less is more" is what I think makes it more feminine.

I prefer the taped one for a design with pixie crystals: the caviar beads echo the tiny pixie beads. For a design with a lot of gold in it, then the other quilt design.

I watch your videos every single day 😚.
I have had my nail artist do so many of your video ideas. One of the ideas that you gave many months ago was the sugar crystals on the nails so I went and I did that, but they caught on everything , my nylon stockings , my silk, all of my fine material .
is there something else that I can use that is very glittery without the sharp sugar crystals on my nails catching on everything?

🥰 they are different types of pixie. The smooth one is called Swarovski crystals pixie cute mood petite (petite is the soothes and nicest effect) there is also edge and they very sharp I don't like them

Ahh so pretty. Love them. I have a pink Dior bag exactly the same shade of pink as these. I’m going to go and have a go of these now as I’ve been very lazy and not done any nail play at all since we went in to lockdown 3 before Christmas. As always your tutorials and designs are amazing and inspiring. Xx
We are in Lockdown too in Scotland. I have also recorded glass decorations Chanel for everyone on Lockdown as sometimes feel fed up too. And it is something that kerp us practice but not on nails 🤗

Sooooo pretty and I am so happy to see that we can do a quilted design with gel. I do have two questions: after you applied the striping tape and the last layer of pink over it, did you apply top coat? Was that before or after curing? I watched several times and couldn't figure it out. Second question is the pink and gold design - is the gold striping tape or gold polish that you hand painted? Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful technique!!!

Top coat before striping tape then no top coat. Yes same as sugar. Just double cure and thin layer

I just have a question about topcoat. Is the quilted layer(the last pink layer that goes over the striping tape) topcoated? The pink will have an inhibition layer wouldn't it?🙂🦋🦋🦋
It is not top coated. Yes it has inhibition layer :)
I missed when the top coat goes on the quilted ones. I watched it several times. After the tape is removed, then cure, then top coat?
Top coat before quilted look I wouldn't apply it over as it will loose the effect of 3d
