OK sold this thing is just absolutely a beauty! let's talk about scheduling a toy sleepover hahaha! j/k. I'm so impressed at the quality and accessories, to tell you the truth the only real feel I've had for this kind of quality was the mazinger you lent me a while back. You can tell it has some awesome quality weight to it, because it can hold up a shooting pose well without falling over. Absolutely you get what you pay for. Fantastic review as always man, love this thing!
Thanks for saying Greg, it really means a lot. Great to know my reviews are appreciated. I'm looking forward to you getting the Shin Getter 1 and seeing your collection video. I can only imagine how spectacular it looks. Thanks again buddy
Great review Greg!! I've never been heavily into Robots or Robot figures but that doesn't stop me from appreciating how awesome and well made this figure is!! The sculpt and paint work are all top notch and the accessories?? wow!! Thanks so much for sharing as always Greg, a very enjoyable and entertaining review. Oh and you ARE a really good reviewer!! Can't wait to see more from the Maddwoba collection :-)
Awesome review, my friend. I used to watch "Tranzor Z" as a kid, so this brings back a lot of nice memories. I don't mind spending $50 for a high-quality figure. Lately I've been picking up figures from Bandai and Square Enix/Play Arts Kai, and I've been very impressed so far. Good stuff here, man!
Awesome review. The effect parts look amazing. I haven't seen any of the Mazinger series but I do like the classic super robot designs. Just love the rocket punch!
Accours, vers nous, prince De L'espace! When I lived in France when I was a kid, from when I was born till i was six, I watched re-runs of this (His name was Goldorak in France) along with my Grandfather. And now they've made an affordable figurine that in my Opinion buts the SOC figure itself to shame in terms of detail and posability. I predict, however, that the Spazer will probably be more than Grendizer itself.
Very cool stuff, I can't say I've ever heard or see these...in poses, they look straight out of a cartoon...I have to ask Greg...you always showcase your collectables on your table video studio, but is there a room in your house that is dedicated to this stuff...if so, I would love to see it...
Very well made indeed and very poseable---I am getting ready to preorder a Shin Getter 1---that one is going to be the icing on the cake for me--haha--Nah---I have never been a good reviewer--I gave up on that along time ago--LOL---You on the other hand are one of the best---I am trying to put together a collection video---hopefully sooner than later---thanks man
good review man, good to see you doing the quality stuff! SRCs are real good., I didn't get the Grendizer, Im happy with my HLPro MT01s but Ill tell you what that SRC is a well made figure. What we both gotta get now is a SRC Raideen... those things are fantastic.
I only have one SOC--Its the red Energer Z---I got lucky and found it for about 50 bucks a few years back. This new line from SRC are awesome---Hoping to get shin getter for Christmas---thanks
Great review buddy! Can't say I'm much of a Mecha fan myself but some of those Japanese figures have been catching my eye lately, particularly their Marvel and DC movie figures. I really want to pick up the Bandai Figuarts Iron Man and War Machine but they're even more expensive than the robots at $70! But from the reviews I've seen, like you said, you really get what you pay for! These Japanese figures really do make Hasbro look like a bunch of chumps.
Thank you for sharing. I would like to ask if you know this Geendizer's size comparing to the old GX-04. People said Bandai will issue the U.F.O soon for accessories. We are looking forward ~
wow this came out of left field, I didn't know you collect Super Robot Chogokin! Cool another thing we have in common. XD I just got Grendizer 2 weeks ago from Amazon as well. I was going to do a review but due to lack of time... Nah. It is such an amazing die-cast bot. :) Right now I'm just waiting for the release of Super Robot Chogokin - Mazinkaiser.
haha---I have up a few videos from my robot collection--from the small SRC all the way up to the big Shogun Warriors---I am not sure about Mazinkaiser but shin getter for sure---I ahve watched your newest vids on my phone---I don't comment on alot of vids if I watch them like that--my fingers are to big to text---LOL--When you get Mazinkaiser --review it---convince me to get it--hahaha---thanks man---btw I have been sharing you comic con vid around on youtube--that was awesome
mate, what have you done! Spent the last few days watching all the vids I can find on these. Shopping list is growing by the day! I found the weapon set for a decent price so it's on it's way from Italy. May arrive before Mazinger Z as he is straight out of Japan. If I end up moving to SOCs your in big trouble mister! haha
hahahahahahaha-----You are really going to like them---Its an awesome line my friend---I am excited for you---They have come out with a new wepons set for Shin Getter1 and Mazinkaiser---buts its really pricey
these look top quality Madd...but you mentioned youre not a fan of all robots, so now im curious about who has been left off your list....now that i think of it, i dont recall seeing any videos on transformers. is there more to this than meets the eye?
How would you stack these up against the Soul of Chokogin versions? - I'm on the fence - I also collect SH Monsterarts so would be very interested to see how they scale.
Its a short list--haha---The next one will be Shin Getter 1--that one is kinda pricey--but it is badass!---My wife is the Transformers fan--she has 1--a bubble bee--LOL--Great play on words--hahahaha---thanks man
these look cool. did you have the ones from the 70s? they had wheels on there feet and they were nearly 2 feet tall. the parents flat out refused to buy me one :(
Just let me know when you want it!---No falling over for this---I can't say the same for my Neca Gypsy Danger--It want stand over night--haha--I just hope the big one is not like that---thanks man
Jeez!! I had no idea they where that pricey now--the last SRC I bought was Mazinkaiser SKL last year or year before last--anyway thats the most I ever paid for one $70 shipped.
maddwoba yeah. Skl is not that bad. I have both versions and the final count one was 86. Grendizer, however, has skyrocketed in price massively. It's one of the most expensive figures that is not some sort of exclusive

The GX-04 is a SOC and this one is an SRC so its a little bit smaller---thanks mate
Indeed!--Looking forward to getting the shin getter too----thanks man
The SRC is a good line of diecast figures---Thanks
I've got to wait a little bit. It's so tempting to get right now.
Very cool stuff, I can't say I've ever heard or see these...in poses, they look straight out of a cartoon...I have to ask Greg...you always showcase your collectables on your table video studio, but is there a room in your house that is dedicated to this stuff...if so, I would love to see it...

Great review! I like the SRC Grendizer better than the Soul Of Chogkin Grendizer. For the price, the SRC line is hard to beat.
This is a great line---The SRC Mazinkaizer does not come out here until December---Thanks
good review man, good to see you doing the quality stuff! SRCs are real good., I didn't get the Grendizer, Im happy with my HLPro MT01s but Ill tell you what that SRC is a well made figure. What we both gotta get now is a SRC Raideen... those things are fantastic.

Nice!---It fits right in--Grendizer is a little bit bigger than the other Mazinger figures but it was like that in the anime too---thanks
I love your review! I will be getting this UFO Grendizer soon.
Goldorak and Grendizer are on my wish list from the Shogun Warrior line too---really expensive!---haha--Thanks
Great review buddy! Can't say I'm much of a Mecha fan myself but some of those Japanese figures have been catching my eye lately, particularly their Marvel and DC movie figures. Oh yeah you're right. I'm trying hard to save up for these. I'm so jealous. I have got to have them.
Thank you for sharing. I would like to ask if you know this Geendizer's size comparing to the old GX-04. People said Bandai will issue the U.F.O soon for accessories. We are looking forward ~
