- Effects of low sodium intake:
1.Hyponatremia 2.Raise in LDL&Triglycerides
urea cycle : high protein diet initially digested &converted into amino acid then in liver react with oxygen to form ketoacid& ammonia.
Ammonia again react with co2 to form urea&water..finally excreted in kidney
creatinine formation: Amino acid in liver converted into phospho creatinine when ADP need phosphate ,phospho creatinine provide phosphorus to ADP, finally excreted via kidney as creatinine

Dear Dr,
Last yr my mother suffered with 'Hyponatremia', bcos of a medicine called 'Chlortholidone', her sodium was dropped by 110, we rushed to emergency care, treating Dr suspected the electorates levels & immediately test taken it shown 110, Dr explained the current situation, and my mother took into ICU were the sodium is pumped by a automated device in another 5 hrs she was out of danger.
The tablet 'Chlortholidone' was given by a physician, to treat the high BP & for some patients it won't be suitable .
This episode given us lesson for my family members how 'Sodium' a ordinary Salt plays an important role in our body.
This was an eye opener for us.
Before, prescribing the tablet Chlortholidone, a physician has to check the patients Sodium level. In reality, no physicians doing that.
Mostly patients are advised to reduce the salt, but for my mother Dr told to increase the intake of Salt.
