Great Job, I just received my board from allnet, very good high quality boards, and keep up the good work, with producing these HQ boards, I am using quite a lot of your boards for various led displays.
Stock for DrZZs should arrive within about a week so if you are waiting to buy from there you shouldn't have to wait too long! Make sure to register for the e-mail notification using the links!
I dont mind paying extra for fast shipping. From AllNet to New Zealand, 3 days. And after all, For what i consider the best products on the market, it is worth it. Thanks Quindor, Pepsi.
Wow, this is a beast, and only $10 more than the mini! ❤ However, with shipping and taxes it ends up at $82 when ordering just one unit, so great to hear you are looking into other options, still hoping for a Amazon EU store 😊
Damn, this board is AWESOME! Nice touch with the embedded Ethernet. I miss it on the Penta-Mini :( Just ordered a Dig-Quad + accessory boards last week to pair with my 3xPenta-Mini and 2xDig-Uno, so this one will have to wait a bit XD
For sure, especially for the main lighting tasks this can provide lots of high quality light! Accent and other lighting I have a 15 channel one coming up (and then the Analog lineup is complete) or you could go digital for that too, depending on requirements such as PWM frequency, etc.
It's so nice that it's not relying on shoddy Wi-Fi for it to work. I don't buy any Wi-Fi gadgets since most rely on old and insecure standards to work that can be easily cracked, and because it's inflexible if the Wi-Fi infrastructure or credentials change. So overall, nice to see a controller with Ethernet!
Thnx! I wish I could include it on more boards but since it takes up about 10x GPIO pins, you need to sacrifice that to have the feature, so over the whole line-up I tried to balance the boards with each having their own unique features next to sharing some of the same DNA (fuses, gate-drivers, etc.)! So for instance the last in the An series that will come out after this, the An-Penta-Deca will have 15 channels but sadly that also means I can't integrate Ethernet at the same time. :) But hey, who knows in the future!
How are these already out of stock?? A fantastic start to a great looking product! (Edit: First time for QuinlLed and now see the market. Looking forward to DrZZs store getting stock. Thanks for this!)
Sorry, I bought them all already. 😂 Kidding aside, not sure why you are seeing them as out of stock. They are still showing as available to me in the UK.
Amazing work 👍 I've recently built my own analogue dimmer with an internal temperature sensor and a mmwave sensor instead of buttons etc but it's nowhere near as professional as yours... Well done
Thnx! Yeah you could extend mine if you use the StemmaQT I2C connector as rx/tx lines for the mmwave for instance. But hey, so many people so many needs! I try to make the board perform well at their tasks while staying flexible.
Hell yeah! An ethernet port. I moving away as much as i can from smarthome devices as i can. Still have a couple Shelly devices which i'm willing to keep. The "new" devices have to bee Zigbee or an ethernet plug.
Smaller there is already in the An-Penta-Mini but POE has lots of technical hurdles to deal with honestly. But I will have something close to that in the Diff-Power system in the future!
I have looked into it before but building one in that can handle up to 48v+ and 30A+ adds considerable cost to the project. You could always add one externally maybe? I just use a AC socket meter to get a rough estimate really.
Awesome work!! 🎉 Was waiting for something like this. It wasnt explicitly mentioned but I assume that you can also use a different voltage PSU instead of a buck converter, right? Or would this cause problems due to different grounds?
As long as you connect GND (you can just use the output GND on the blue plug) then it should work fine using the data coming from the board (that's level-shifted to 5v with 33R resistor internally). The buck-converter option is just to simplify a deployment if you require a different voltage. If you don't and just use the VCC voltage this is actually the first 48v supporting digital controller from me in a way, if you don't count the Power-5HV. ;)
If I want to run a separate power supply (that is smart relay switched via a Shelly relay) for the digital LED, can I feed the +ve of this separate power supply to the Buck-Out port and -ve to the GND? In other words: 24VDC PSU +ve ---> BUCK OUT + (ORANGE) 24VDC PSU -ve --> GND (ORANGE) ---------------------------------------------------- LED VCC (BLUE) ----> WS2805 +24 DATA OUT (BLUE)---> WS2805 DIN GND (BLUE) ----> WS2805 GND Also while at the same time: A different 24VDC PSU to power the AN PENTA PLUS as well as 1 ANALOG WHITE Additionally with this setup: do the 2 separate PSUs -VE need to be tied together?

I've been waiting patiently for this to be released. I've just ordered two. 😎
Hey awesome, thank you very much!
You continue to outdo yourself, love it!
Thank you! :D

AWESOME. I am going to do built in LED's in my office and this sounds like it could be the one to handle it.
For sure, especially for the main lighting tasks this can provide lots of high quality light! Accent and other lighting I have a 15 channel one coming up (and then the Analog lineup is complete) or you could go digital for that too, depending on requirements such as PWM frequency, etc.
Looks amazing!

@@IntermitTech Nice! Btw couldn't some 10 Mbit ethernet be bit banged in less pins? I remember some arduino boards being able to do that
Great price and features, really nice design. Would love shipping from the Netherlands!
Getting shipping under control is one of my primary focuses of 2025!
@@IntermitTechThat would be great. Just ordered one, but shipping was a downer.

Anyone else notice a LED strip with QuinLED on it? Interesting!!
You are the first one to notice and comment! But yup, that was a little eater egg for something that's coming up. ;)

Awesome to hear it, thank you very much!

I Bought this baord,, 40 meter of 24v led strips and 500watt power supply hopefully this will workout for my basement project.
Just a thought- maybe make a smaller version and make it PoE.
Smaller there is already in the An-Penta-Mini but POE has lots of technical hurdles to deal with honestly. But I will have something close to that in the Diff-Power system in the future!
Aww, thought you would add INA260 for once. I would love to see power consumption of my 20m*5 led strips when all turned on.
I have looked into it before but building one in that can handle up to 48v+ and 30A+ adds considerable cost to the project. You could always add one externally maybe? I just use a AC socket meter to get a rough estimate really.

In other words:
24VDC PSU +ve ---> BUCK OUT + (ORANGE)

----------------------------------------------------
LED VCC (BLUE) ----> WS2805 +24
DATA OUT (BLUE)---> WS2805 DIN
GND (BLUE) ----> WS2805 GND
Also while at the same time:
A different 24VDC PSU to power the AN PENTA PLUS as well as 1 ANALOG WHITE
Additionally with this setup: do the 2 separate PSUs -VE need to be tied together?
Expensive shipping - $39.99 to EU but 28 USD for shipping
The Quinled's boards offer good value for money, but the high shipping fees, especially for large-volume purchases, pose a notable drawback.
US store says out of stock. 😢
Well they are still on the air, give it a few days!
@@IntermitTechwaiting ! Thank you
