This guy forgot to mention that the1930's Depressio was after the Fed was created and was a very long period of time just as the early periods he mentioned in the 1800's. What has stopped the panics among the "little people" as he called them was the addition of the FDIC in the 1930's. It didn't stop the panic of the "big guys" as happened in the 2008 period. The Fed did help in that period with the help of the Treasury. The Feds actions during the pandemic period was a big overreaction by the Fed and Congress which is partially related to the current inflation. Money was thrown around like there was no tomorrow. I call the "politicians panic". We now have " the socialist" mindset in charge of the government and supported by the same mindset in the media, business leaders, education and entertainment.
