Yeah it can takes years to get to V6. It's really tempting to use your upper body to "pull" yourself up the wall, but that gets exhausting. Generally your legs are much more powerful. Keep your body and hips close to the wall and focus on strategically extending your legs on different holds :)

I have been climbing for about 8 months now and injured my anke last week, so I can´t go for another 1.5 weeks. Watching you in the climbing gym makes me miss bouldering so so so much. I am happy you had fun, it´s the best sport.
climbing injuries are the worst, I can totally relate ahah! Fingers crossed your ankle recovers soon :)
Tayla Rose yeah it is pretty bad. Not being able to leave the hose more than 200m without my foot looking like its going to explode is driving me crazy. Hopefully I can climb again soon!

Oh my goodness I loved watching this! I have a couple bouldering gyms in my town and I go about 3 times a week, I started a few months ago and am in love! The individual rocks are called "holds" haha and the larger communal structures are called "volumes."
I just love your videos Niomi! You are so inspiring and genuine! They really motivate me and I find myself getting excited about life, wanting to take better care of myself, eat better, and defintely wanting to try more recipes from your cookbook (which is amazing btw)! You're just so positive and it's refreshing to someone enjoying nature and all that life has to offer and wow the beauty of that farm! So gorgeous I want to go there someday!

My husband and I have been climbing now for about four months and both of us have noticed a huge difference in our arm and leg strength. it is honestly one of the best workouts, especially for stress relief, because your mind and body have to be so connected and focused together on what you are doing. It's not like some other workouts where you can just zone out and go on autopilot

Lol, when you said you had never climbed before and wanted to do the hardest one by the end of the week!! 🤣😂🤣 I'm like girl, that takes years of practice to work up to, even for really fit people!!! Good thing you asked one of the staff what was a more realistic goal. If you liked bouldering you might also like actually rock climbing (with harness) for me that's way more fun because you can just focus on the moves and not worry about falling!! Such a fun hobby!! 💕💜💕

Very ambitious with the rock climbing :) I've been climbing for over 10 years, and it takes a lot of consistent training to get good. Totally worth it though, and the gyms in London are really good! Cute video
Side note...the fake rocks are called "holds" and each thing you climbed was called a "route" or "problem" :P

Hey I'm a rock climber just to let you know the rock things are called holds, but they are so many different types of holds like crimps, jugs , slopers and so many others , keep up the great climbing!
Please can you do some more healthy snack ideas please, loved the last one!
