It has a few plot holes (like Goku being named son Goku even after radits says he is kakarot) and bellow average editing (like how it shows Gohan as goku’s son) but the story itself is good enough to keep me more than interesting! If it had better editing it would be one of the best what ifs I’ve ever seen

In regards to the Kakarot plot hole, I had intended that to be more of the narrator saying the name “Kakarot” to the audience. Raditz states that he has a baby brother that’s alive but I didn’t intend for him to say the name out loud to the gods.
I appreciate the criticism though, I’d like to hear more critiques so that I can make even better stories in the future :)
Story was great until the black frieza stuff. Then it went downhill from there. I'm sorry but ss red or blue isn't beating frieza black. And what the hell was up with that Gohan stuff 😳 😂. Overall enjoyable story.

If Goku trained with Whis for much, much longer, it'd be reasonable to assume his power in his base state would be astronomical.

The biggest problem I see is that Goku somehow became a SSJG, SSJB, and LSSJ, but just switches between them as if they are all the same. This is most likely a cheap editing choice. The story is still amazing which is why we all watch it anyway

Goku was kind hearted because his tail was cut, and he lost his memory due to head trauma. How is that still the case if these things didn't happen in this version?
He does lose his memory from head trauma, but the loss of the tail isn't mentioned but clearly happens since the genue (idk how to spell it) didn't think he was sayian, they thought he was human since they didn't see a tail
His tail getting cut never influenced his personality the only thing that did was the head trauma and grandpa Gohan raising him

True, but it can also be argued that goku is naturally kind-hearted. He was rowdy as a kid and bumping his head made only his rowdiness go away, no mention whatsoever of him turning from evil to good.
Gine is his mother, a very kind and gentle saiyan, then Bardock is his father, a unique one that, unlike other saiyans, understands familial bonds. Like how he was shown to definitely love his family, even going so far as to save his child, and in super he spared a mother and child, and even protected them from enemies because he saw Gine and Goku from them.
You may bring up Raditz, why wasn't he like Goku if genetics influences their nature? Well, unlike Goku in the show, and Goku here in this what-if, Raditz was influenced by saiyan culture. He grew up being merciless and the other saiyans, specially the ruthless Vegeta rubbed off on him. Goku didn't have that, in both the show and here, Goku has good influence, one from Whis and Grandpa Gohan from the show. Goku has a good nature *and* nurture.
@user-ue6ur5nt5z that's not an argument, it's speculation. Likely derrived from fanimations. Even in those fanimation, it spoke about how much colder and smarter goku was in the what- ifs.
This is my favorite what if. A lot of the others either make Goku weaker than someone else or make changes to only help their favorite character. The way that you made them seem like a real family was great!

The only part that I find bad about this is that frieze beat Mr popo that's cap Mr. Popo is as strong as a super saiyan 2 but he's a genie and can't leave the look out but it's been con firmed that Mr popo was stronger than frieze in nameks saga
the story was very interesting, although I was a bit taken a back when some of the characters were confused with other characters.
