- woahwoahwoah first utau cover on my channel !!!
i've messed around with utau and vocaloid for YEARS now, but never actually made anything serious (or for posting, that is)... ritsu's always been my favorite utau and meltdown is one of my favorite vocaloid songs, so i decided to make this!
i hope i did a good job with ritsu's voicebank ♡ also hope that my video editing skills are decent enough... i got final cut pro (the trial. I am broke) just to make this look good lol

Not used to hearing Ritsu sing so high pitched, but it's still amazing.
I believe that UTAU users have to put more effort than Vocaloid users because It's more harder to manipulate, and even more manipulating Ritsu.

youre absolutely correct, if i could compare it in terms of "manipulate", i would say youre catching a shiny pokemon with a bad pokeball.

This is great! It really deserves more views! Not only were you able to tune Ritsu to sound more like the kind of voice the song originally had, it’s still distinctly him! I can also appreciate the video editing skills, they’re nothing over the top and they don’t distract from the song, but the static especially helped build atmosphere! Also, and this might be small, but with someone as artist friends- thank you so much for crediting the artist in the video and description! Not all people care to do that when they make videos, and it’s good exposure for artists. Props on the tuning, video, and song all around! Great job!
CrystallineNebula this is such a sweet comment oh my gosh 🥺🥺 i’m glad everything looks and sounds good !!! since i’m inexperienced working “professionally” (aka not just screwing around for myself) with utau, it’s a huge relief that i was able to tune ritsu well. and yeah, as both an artist myself & someone who’s been in this community for a long time now, crediting artists is very important to me !! thank you again for this, i really appreciate it :) it makes me want to make more videos!

this is such a compliment oh my god !! when i made this i could only use utau synth which doesn’t allow resamplers or anything fancy, so i was worried the tuning would sound bad. i’m glad you like it!

this is fantastic! this is absolutely one of my favorite versions BY FAR. i'm not a big utau or vocaloid fan and by no means do i know ANYTHING about what it takes to do this, but i can appreciate it from a musical standpoint and teto has always been my favorite just because i like the way she sounds, but ritsu is now a close rival because of your tuning! this is so cool! great work, this is absolutely amazing. :)
