History: Aldi is originally from Germany, and in Germany they had two types of stores, and one store sold things that are a little more expensive and one that sold regular items. When Aldi moved to the United States they decided to do the same, but instead change the name of the more expensive store to Trader Joe's. Just a little history Aldi owns trader Joe's. Also, one reason I shop there is because last year they changed all of their meats are locally grown.... Love your videos :)
Aldi US is NOT affiliated or owned by or shares business with Trader Joe’s. They are two different companies, Aldi US is owned by Aldi Sud and TJ was affiliated with Aldi Nord. google for more...not same owner
What I like about Aldi is that the shopping carts are always at the front of the store because of the quarter thing and they aren't all busted up from sitting out in the weather. I also kind of get spoiled with bagging my own groceries. Their deals on snacks can not be beat when you have kids...I'm the same I always spend over $200 everywhere else but Aldi. Definitely want to see how you organize it all!
I have been shopping at Aldi for over 25 years Aldi is an international chain, with stores all over the world, and the sister store to Trader Joes, a upscale food store like Whole Foods, and Marianos. There home office is based in Germany. Aldi is one of the finest food stores in the States. It has a broad range of items to pick from: natural/health food, some process food to gourmet food, it has a house and garden section, they sell electronics and auto supplies all at reasonable prices. Aldi gives the you best bang for the buck! For example where are you going to buy a lb. of real butter for 1.99! Aldi My kind of store.
Aldi is a German base grocery store. I love there sweets, because German pastries are not sweet, sweet like the US pastries. I hope you all enjoy your grocery haul.
You're going to love the brioche buns! I buy those to make mini buger sliders. The regular brioche bread is perfect for French toast since it's nice and thick. We love Aldi in my house!
Yes girl! I’m going to aldi tonight and I’ve been watching these videos all day😂 I’m glad you went over cookies because my fiancé has such a sweet tooth!
Liked your video. The first time I went to Aldi I didn't think I liked it. Then I tried their foods and thought about it and went back. I am a weekly customer at Aldi for the last couple of years. I love it! I spend half what I used to spend on my food shop and for me it is necessary to stay on a very very tight budget.
I like the avocados, blueberries, halos and luv the unsalted almonds and pistachios along with the mini cucumbers. They have several organic items too.
Hey Tan! yes I would like to see how you organize your basement. Another tip for Aldi, you can go online to their website and look at the sales before you go and always check for their eggs because I usually get them for .57 cents a dozen but you came out really good! Love Aldi!
I love Aldi! With having a family size of 6 groceries can be more than a utility bill so saving money is a must. We make a list and head over to Aldi and our pockets love it.
Moon pies always make me think of field trips when I was in Elementary school. When you shop at Kroger do you use the digital coupons they have on their website. Those coupons add up to nice savings sometimes.
I almost exclusively shop at Aldi for their fresh produce and staple items (organic) and their grass fed ground beef. I also like that their products don't have chemicals and other bad stuff that's in the mainstream products. Their peanut butter cups are so much better than Reese cup brand. Prices are so reasonable. Enjoyed your video.
I agree with all of the positive the other ladies have said about Aldi. I purchase almost all of my groceries there. Chocolate: they have some chocolate covered caramels with sea salt on top: THEE BEST!!! Welcome to the Aldi family!
Aldis has a lot of great grocery items that are cheaper like sugar, flour, powdered sugar, pumpkin, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, pecans etc. They also have cinnamon rolls in the can for fridge that are delicious. The Hawaiian sweet rolls are also delicious.
Would love to see you do a healthy shop at ALDI and make a meal out of the items that you do get from there. Loved the video, and your joy over the cookies that was fantastic.
Yes I would like to see how everything looks after being put up. And I would like to see how some of the meals come out that you prepare. And I will also like to see a review of how you feel about the food
New sub here!! Watching your morning and the music you paired it with was actually kinda therapeutic for me. ☺️You have a beautiful home! Thanks for sharing
Fantastic Aldi Haul. Girl you did great for your first time shopping at Aldi. I shop at Aldi's every month. I love Aldi's. Great food, great prices. The foods I can't get at Aldi's, I go to savalot or Walmart to buy.
Great deal! I’ve been shopping at Aldi for many years here in Milwaukee. Wisconsin. I love ❤️ you beautiful home and would love to see the finish grocery organized video. Blessings to you and your wonderful family. ❤️
Aldi is or used to be our Go To for pretty much everything. Until the Click List invention. I've since been ordering our groceries from Kroger and picking them up after work. I am so hoping Aldi joins the Order/Pick up bandwagon. Also, I'm not sure how far into your Aldi research you weren't however the creators of Aldi (two brothers from Germany) purchased Trader Joes in the late 70s. They're essentially the same store. Ppl used to give me so much grief for shopping there, mocking the off brand names lol. I can feed a family of 6 with $400 monthly and aside from a few things, they can't tell the difference! You have to try the ribeye steak, if you're into that sort of thing. The cut is so thick that we often slice it and get two steaks from it.
I shop at Aldi's RELIGIOUSLY. Lol, my family and I get our bang for our buck and we are completely satisfied. The ONLY time I shop else where is during family events where I'm hosting at my house and certain items are not sold at Aldi's but other than that...lol...I stays put! Great haul, and don't be afraid to give it more chances.
I have shopped at Aldi in Germany and Slovenia. Different name there but the same sign colors. They have fresh bakery’s there. It was very interesting.
Ha ha ha. I’m amused that you said you looked up videos to prepare for your Aldi trip. That’s how I found yours, to prepare for when they finish building a store not to far from me. Thank you!
a quarter, own bags and I have to remember my patience too, I have to go at 9am so its empty and stocked ours gets super crowded. then i check out get my total and am like THIS IS WHY I LOVE ALDI
This was a suggested video, so I subscribed bc I liked it. You have a lovely & organized home. We definitely would have been roommates in my younger years lol ...Aldi is owned by the brother of Trader Joe’s. The brothers got into an argument and went their separate ways...& ANYTHING you purchase at Aldi can be returned..even if u try an item & don’t like it. They are that confident about their products.
I love Aldi who is owned by Trader Joe's. They have ther best selections. They also have a healthy and vegan line of products. You have to try they chicken sausage and their hummus dip.
Aldi & Trader Joe’s are own by the same German Company . The reason the food shelves are stock that way is so they don’t have to hirer as many employees to keep the shelves stock .
Where I live there’s an Aldi & we shop there all the time, especially when I don’t want to go in crowded Walmart/Kroger’s/Brookshires. Girllllll my mom loves HSN, I need to start getting her gift cards from them lol
The one bad thing about Aldi is that they are a pretty bare basics grocery store, so you still may have to shop at other places for certain items. However, as a whole, I do love Aldi. I especially recommend their hummus, and deli cheese selections, particularly their Brie, goat cheeses, and monzerella balls. Yum! Also, if you do happen to forget your bags, you can use their boxes for free. You can just grab empty ones that you see throughout the store.
I've been a fan of Aldi for years. Aldi & Trader Joes are owned by the same company...I'm loyal to both. Can't go wrong either way. I still go to other stores from time to time but Aldi & TJs are my favs. Glad you enjoyed your experience. You'll probably go again 😉 TFS!! 👋👋
Try the Aldi Beef Hamburger Patties in the box. I don’t like the ones that come in the bag. Try the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Cookies...soooo good. Also, not sure if you a Lidl in your area or not. Similar to Aldi.
Great Job! My sister is 48 years old, and she still eats those moon pies. lol I want to try those peanut butter cookies, and the sweet chips. Looks very good. Tyvm for sharing and taking me along.
Great video! A lot of of people don't know that Aldi is owned by the same company as Trader Joe's. I used to work for Trader Joe's. If you shop at Trader's you will notice the packaging and products are a lot alike. The quality of both stores is wonderful for the price.
I'm an Atlanta native living in Germany and Aldi is our go to for basics and snacks. I think the quality of produce in Germany isn't as great as it is in the US. Another great German chain making its way into the U.S. market is Lidl. It's very similar to Aldi and another go to for our staples.
How do you like your coffee maker? Could you do a demo and what you like and dislike about it. I have heard that the coffee does not come out hot. Is that true. Also cute mug
Hi no erik didn't say snacks from the 1960 's . I would eat one right now if i had one too. We have some now in nyc , but i haven't been yet. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the history lesson, Tori!! GREAT info! Hope you're having an AMAZING week!! xo Tan
TORI JOYNER wow! I didn’t know that!
I had no idea!
Wow, thanks. I already Loved Aldi's, now I love it even more!

I'm just curious as to why you installed another kitchen in your basement?
Tan you are so funny love seeing your reaction to shopping at Aldi. Have great day!
I'm loving your kitchen set-up, so bright and roomy. Great haul also.
I went toi Aldi's today for the first time and just fell in love!Spent half the money I would usually spend at the usual grocery store!!!
That black bean and corn salsa is amazing! Love Aldi!
My teenage son loves Old Spice Swagger also. He also is into Axe. Aldi is the bomb! Their produce prices are awesome.
Love Aldi!
Oh and check to see if they have a store named Lidl down there. It is somewhat set up like Aldi and their specials are great too!
Yes ma'am, I sure do Cynthia and I ALWAYS have my Kroger Plus Card lol!! Thanks for stopping in and I'll see you in the next one!! xo Tan
Yes, would love to see the storage of your cabinets. Also, could you do a video on likes and dislikes of the food you purchased from Aldi?
You popped up today and I immediately subscribed when I saw your kitchen and pantry 👏🏽👌🏽
The specialty select brand has good stuff. That's their German brand. They have great prices for meats as well.
Thanks for the tips, Siobhan!!
Love your snack haul. Looking forward to seeing your organization.
“A: bring my quarters.
2: bring my bag.”
Lol
A. 2. 3.-Bring the buggy back! lol
This was my first time watching your channel. Your camera and lighting is crystal clear. I thought I was watching HD tv. Great job!
That Aldi chocolate cake is the truth!!! Love it!!!
The wine is WONDERFUL!
I LOVE Aldi!!! I only go to other grocery stores to find items Aldi doesn't carry 😊
I agree with all of the positive the other ladies have said about Aldi. I purchase almost all of my groceries there. Chocolate: they have some chocolate covered caramels with sea salt on top: THEE BEST!!! Welcome to the Aldi family!

We are getting one soon where I live. Good to know about the bags and the quarters.
I was excited when I first went to Aldi's too. I go there every 2 weeks. I go for certain things in addition to going to Food Town or BJ's.
Hi Tan, I have a question about the case of water you purchased are they the average sized bottle waters? They look taller to me?
Hi Alexandria, I'd say they are the standard size. I have the 24 count pack. Thanks for stopping in and I'll see you in the next one! xo Tan
I love Aldi who is owned by Trader Joe's. They have ther best selections. They also have a healthy and vegan line of products. You have to try they chicken sausage and their hummus dip.

Michael S they both owned by same company dang just google it
xoAngelica Aldi US is owned by Aldi Sud, Aldi North is DIFFERENT company. Read both Aldi and TJs websites. They are 100% NOT the same company.

Simple Me it’s called LIDL not LIDI. We be had Aldi and Lidl in the U.K. since the 1980s. Great value for money and lovely food.
