I remember being a kid and coming up to a house that had decorations and just the excitement from knowing they were DEF going to answer the door- you gave me those feels for sure! I love the pathway jacks. I got some from CVS that are similar a few years ago. I just wish they had longer chords to space them out further too. Love it! That pumpkin fogger is awesome! Looks great ❤✨🎃✨👻✨🎃✨
Honestly the best compliment - thank you!!! The decorated houses were always the best and the decorated neighborhoods were even better!!! I always wanted to live in a neighborhood where everyone goes all out! Also yes to the longer cords!! I was pushing these ones to the max 😂

Ghouls If you decorate your yard for Halloween here's some tips that I SWEAR BY
tip 1- keep your Walmart/plastic grocery bags and wrap a bag around where two cords connect! And It helps with keeping rain out of your cords!
2- keep a yard decor book(or use it for ideas for indoor decor too!)- what I mean is get a cheap basic spiral notebook and use it for ideas that you have thru out the year/things that need touching up (re glued/painted ECT) so your already ahead! (I keep it by me when I'm putting stuff away thay may need some touch ups (especially yard decor)
3-amazon has deals on Halloween decorations especially inflatables all year! Make a list on Amazon for Halloween inflatables and ones that you like/might consider and check it once in a while sometimes inflatables will have a coupons for extra savings (the coupons come & go) I start searching for inflatables around Halloween now and some are 30-60% off just depends.on the inflatable
4- storage tub and use it for extras (stakes for inflatables,extra cords, mounting tape, zip ties, bulbs for inflatables, zip ties(u never know lol) and scissors!
5- if you want items to light up w/a tea light..Amazon has battery operated tea lights that have timers and some come with batteries!!! /Batteries are super cheap to on amazon!
I do most of these as well except for the notebook planning. I’m very much a visual/vibe person.
I also want to suggest using some dry cat litter wrapped in a shopping bag and put inside your inflatables as weights. I have had my inflatables outside all month long, they are being takes down by flimsy yarn, but the cat litter in a plastic bag has definetly kept those babies from flying out into my street this New England Halloween season 🎃🖤
@@happyzombiikitti we made wood platforms from 2x4s and plywood. We drilled a screw through tabs where the stakes would go on the bottom of the inflatables, but for Inflatables with a stand fan we drill a screw through the holes on the inflatable stand 😁 and we spray paint the platforms black as well as stake the inflatables w/the tie down string and the platforms help keep leaves out of the fan
I hope you keep with the decorating outside. I love watching when you do it and when you plant flowers with your mom. It's depressing driving around and not seeing houses at least somewhat decorated, I remember when I was a kid it was the most magical thing to see.🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🌒🌕🌘🕯️
🕸️Tip: like you use spooky clothes inside to feel in spaces, use spider webs outside to do the same just don't forget to stretch them out A LOT people forget to do that and it ends up looking weird.
I am so sad and in mourning that Halloween is Monday. Spooky season is ending and back to counting down to halfway to Halloween and decor hunting 2023 trips!
Do your neighbors know you as the halloween lady? We were called the scary house last year and now I feel like I have an expectation to live up to 😂
When we were putting up our lights and cemetery some kids from the neighborhood drove by and told us how great it was looking! Made my Halloween heart happy!

Love how it turned out. Random can be totally fine! I kept our balcony decor minimal this year. A black branchy wreath with orange lights on the door, a skeleton climbing the railing with a Happy Halloween sign plus orange lights hanging off him and a good sized pumpkin.

i loved the pathway pumpkins, though the plastic on them was driving the ocd in me a little nuts lol....the spider should be on the right side of your porch, maybe in a bush to balance it out but u always decorate great!!!!

Halloweens such a great time, I remember when I was like 6 or 7 going int9 a spirit for the first time in like 2016, or 2017, I was terrified of the animitronics, and now I’ve had a haunted house for 2 yrs, which goes through my side yard, garage, back yard, my other side yard, and kinda my front but my front is just a huge cemetary with a bunch of animitronics thst fit I r thst theme

You read my mind about the rocks in the bottom of the Jack-o-lantern! I live in the Nebraska Panhandle. The leaves finally were allowed to change and fall this year, even though most of them were taken off yesterday by wind. LOVED the colors this year! Found Shudder because of you and thank you!! I get the porch "exposure" thing but I can't resist, and we decorate October 1st on the porch. Then we spend the next month watching so many neighbors being vandalized via our Ring app. So far in the several years we've been decorating we have not been targeted. I choose to believe it's because of the witch's hex and spell I manifest daily through the month. Bwahhhhhhh....0

Loved how your porch decoration came out! I personally love decorating with pumpkins (skeletons, skulls and witches are my all-year decoration).
