Dumb way to do Legacy Bans next season: Put every card that’s ever been banned on Saga onto a wheel and spin it 15-20 times. Everything it hits is banned.
Dougs Deck is AWESOME, i love the normal monster engine going into a rank 4 pool that can expand each episode. And then the small Tear package that can potentially just one card first turn screw the oponent. Its so cool
I was rooting for Doug the second I saw that Suship Tear deck and Im so glad the coolest deck got to curbstomp this week. Also Unending Nightmare is so gonna get banned later on.
I gotta give it to gage, he has the art of shit talking down. Like i get twisted hearing him run his mouth at doug or Mitochondria Bacterial Tearlament
people really underestimate the second tear field spell because of how good perlereino is... but it's a really neat card. you can chain block a tear fusion, send king of the swamp to make whatever from the extra deck... No reason to play it over perlereino of course, but it's actually solid.
Yeah I agree. Especially in a limited format like this, I feel like it would actually be somewhat useful depending on what you pull. It’s not great on its own but it’s not a terrible card.
Yeah, I've played it for a little bit when I didn't have the UR dust for a full Tear set, and it's not terrible. It's not great, or even good, but it's honestly fine in sealed environments and in weird alternate brews that needed King or Beast King in grave to make somethingg else.
Gage unlocked the Madolche pack and i think it was worth considering. Some of the key monsters are at higher rarity but Madolche has access to an absolutely busted lineup of backrow, all of which are N/R. Even if you dont pull the monsters neccesary to pull off an insane wombo combo deck, you have the tools necessary for a solid control strategy Chat was trying to convince him and it just wasn't sticking 😢
@@callmesilver2683you're just completely wrong? promenade and dessert are crazy disruption, chateau and ticket let you keep generating insane advantage, and salon gets you to all of them. and they're *all* at rare it's dumb to not consider it, especially with a craft

@@callmesilver2683Dessert and Promenade are crazy disruption, Chateau and Ticket let you generate insane advantage, and Salon gets you to all of them. I fail to see the issue
Gage missplayed against Joseph at 47:20, right? He could've gone: 1 - Chiyomaru banish Edge Razor to summon Pla-tina; 2 - Pla-tina summons the banished Edge Razor; 3 - Edge Razor summons Chiyomaru from hand; 4 - Make Justify.
Yeah he COULD make Justify there, but he can't attack with it that turn because of Labyrith wall shadow. He loses the follow up of rappa chiyomaru in hand, and doesn't get access to the Chase trap. I think he made the right play at 47:20, but failed to toggle on to activate chase before Wind&Water came down, which he acknowledged later.
Maybe? It depends on if Joseph uses Orochi the turn Justify was summoned. If he did, then the following would most likely happen: Justify to negate double barrel attack gain (this happens during Gage’s turn) Orochi attempt to pop justify, justify negates Double barrel to boost to 2600 Crash barrel into Justify Main 2 Joseph makes wind and water, but hopefully not before Gage uses Trio and Power Reserve (the latter is popped by the Paleo) Joseph ends on wind and water Orochi and 3 tokens (assuming he can’t link with them idk) and Gage still has almost nothing. Depending on the draw, Small Scuffle into another Rappa to banish for Gravitino is possible. Still not ideal but probably better than Chase for 1.
Alternatively, Gage does the play he did in the video but instead of holding the Chase he uses it to bounce a Guardian piece, then he can use Small Scuffle during the end phase for a second Rappa which would technically get him to Justify but would fall victim to Joseph’s Black Horn.
@@Pikapuff30 I mean Gage said what he wanted to do was Chase out a bunch of Joseph's cards after he combo'd with Small Scuffle, but messed up the toggle and let him get Wind and Water which dealt with his cards, hence why Joseph said he saw what Gage was trying to do. I don't blame him, I played the Solo mode with these cards and that was misplay central, and Gage hadn't even done that.
Im surprised it took this long for someone to realize that S-Force is a very strong and cheap deck for a limited series, i mean the deck became meta in duel links when it came out simply because it thrives in lower powered environments as a neat control deck.
I gotta say, this is probably the best season of saga so far. Last season gives it a run for its money, but the banter, the missplays, the decklists, its all hilarious
I have not seen or known a single person to ever play RSL, but I have seen at least dozens of sponsorships. Somehow they seem to do something right, not making a good game, but something else that makes them money
S-Force is a weird control deck that basically forces your opponents into specific columns and then punishes them for playing into those columns, and try to control the pace with trap cards that let them swarm the field and bounce cards. The issue is that deck is quite slow, and doesn't produce anything good for a turn 1 end board while also being a trap deck so it can't go 2nd to save its life. What makes it interesting is that all their effects are meant to counter their enemies, one example is that S-Force Dog Tag locks cards in its column out of activating effects during the main phase, which stops Masq.
Honestly an argument could be made for the striker pack being the best in sealed cuz at worst you probably get a bunch of the striker backrow and a bunch of level 4 guys.
Since the dawn of Saga 7 the Dark Emperor Gage has ruled the series with an iron fist, now January 15th 2025 the banlist heroes rise up to face them? Will they bring this dark age to an end or will the Age of Gage continue unbroken?
They always go into the Tear pack and I always have to ask myself "...yea, but even if you pull good, what does it even do without the other support that usually goes into Tear?"
Next season cards banned from this season should carry over and a pack cant be opened more than twice overall so you can pack snipe people but it could ruin your strategy or could ruin theirs.
