Thank you my Papa, truly stated. There is no message in a preacher's mess.
The message (The Gospel) is in the resurrection of Christ alone.

    SUNDAY 2ND SERVICE (Extract)
    PREACHING: Dr. Abel Damina
    TOPIC: Identifying Spiritual Growth
    DATE: 12th February 2023
We said that as a Ministry this year we are focused on discipleship and building strong Local Churches…
We also said the Church is a physical gathering, and if you are not in a gathering you are not in church and you are living in disobedience…
We live for the Glory of God and not ourselves…
    1 Peter 2:2
Desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby…
We said in the first service that the word "sincere" is to be without lies and without deceit or trickery and once there is deceit or trickery in any word nobody can grow thereby…
Any message that will make people grow must be void of material gain, trickery and deceit…
We also said there are two things that define a deceptive gospel today…"materialism" and "legalism"…
The word "milk" is the Greek word "gala" which is a mode of communication…
Sometimes in order to get a New Convert to understand it may require using figures of speech as a mode of communication …
    1 Cor 3:2
I have fed you with milk and not with meat for hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able…
Sincere milk of the "word" is used for reasoning…so it's a message that engages your reasoning faculty…
    Romans 12:2
It has affected or engaged the way you reason...so the Milk of the Word is that which changes your thinking…
Therefore Spiritual Growth reflects in the way you think…if your thinking has not changed concerning Christ it simply means you are not growing…because growth begins with thinking…
Your reasoning is altered by the word…
    1 Peter 2:2
Remember we said that to "grow thereby" is unto salvation…
In Discipleship, people are trained how to think, talk and act…
The challenge today is people are told to change their conduct before receiving the Gospel which is doctrinally wrong…
In the book of Acts all of the sermons had the truth for spiritual growth contained in them…and the growth of a believer is by that same message that saves…
You don't grow by adding what you used to know to what you are being taught…
    Mark 4:13
Jesus was saying if you don't understand this parable how would you understand other parables…
So it means the parable of the Sower was a parable of salvation…And if this parable unlocks other parables then it therefore means all the other parables Jesus gave were also about Salvation…
A child of God is made out of the word of God which has been tried through the fire and which dwelleth in him, so when you are persecuted for the word sake, that word of God that is in you keeps you, but if you are offended for the word sake it means you may really not have been Born Again…
Persecutions and trials are proof of our salvation…
We said in the first service that a man can carry out all the activities in the church and yet is not saved…
In the parable of the Sower Jesus showed us 4 scenarios which highlighted two (2) important facts: understanding and belief…
    Luke 24:44,45
    That understanding is key…
    John 6:66
Many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him…they left because he brought sound doctrine…
So the Gospel of Christ is not attractive to the unbeliever…because there is no material gain in it…in the Gospel you gain Christ and nothing else…
    Matt 7:13,14
The word "broad" there is used for a street…and the word "narrow" refers to a single way…what he was saying is that narrow road is the only way to eternal life; Christ…
Jesus is God almighty…He is eternal life, the living water and the only way…
    Matt 7:13,14
The wide(broad) way there are the false prophets available today…
    Matt 7:16,17,21,22,23
Miracles in the hands of a man who is not in Christ is a work of iniquity…so they came to church, used the name of Jesus to perform miracles but never knew Christ…so Jesus said on that day he will tell them to depart from him…
    Matt 7:24,25
Notice that both houses were exposed to the same rain, flood and wind, but one stood…so every single human being goes through things…
Along with following Christ comes a cost(sacrifice), persecution…that is why there is a reward…
When your earthly ambition makes you inactive from following God's plan, then you have become a shadow of your reality in Christ…
    Matt 13:24, Matt 7:26-40
While men slept the enemy came and sowed tares…that tares there refer to people who are not Born Again and are amongst us but their true identity will only be revealed in the end…
    2 Cor 11:26
So these people are actually amongst us and do everything we do…but inside their DNA they are not one of us…these are false brethren…
    Gal 2:4
False brethren unawares brought in…who came in privily to spy out our liberty in Christ Jesus, that he may bring us into bondage…
Jesus said these people are not built upon me or upon the rock…
There can be no salvation or growth outside the Gospel of Christ…
    Matt 13:23, 2 Cor 4:3-4
    2 Cor 3:14, 2 Cor 11:3, Mark 4:20, Mark 4 :28
    Romans 7:4,5
We are born again to bring forth fruits unto God…
    Col 1:4-6,10
That you may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every work and increasing in the knowledge of God…it means your increase in the word of God will be seen in the fruits that you bear…
    Luke 8:15
So these people heard the word, kept it and brought forth fruits…
There can not be salvation without the Gospel and there can not be spiritual growth without the Gospel…so it is faith in Christ before growth…
Spiritual growth therefore must be built on the proper facts of the Gospel…so it's not all about come and do this or that…it's about are you saved?
Salvation is not just about "come and join" our church, it is faith in Christ…
There is no salvation in any other, there is no name given under heaven whereby men might be saved except the name of Jesus…
It is salvation first, and then, spiritual growth…
    Glory to God!!!
