You'll probably get the most out of the speed brake with flaps deployed and a small up elevator mix to compensate for the pitch change. On landing the brake will be most effective with full down elevator to add some air deflection as a spoiler effect. For the best stopping power you'd want an ESC with reverse thrust capability. Good stuff man!

The biggest issue is getting it to slow down for landing. It just requires a lil high alpha type flying to slow down for landing. I have same bird. Not many flights on it but it flies nice and air brake does a little something but not much. I weathered mine but took forever so many panel lines. Nice flight keep it up!

Cool man! I have nine flights on mine and love it so far. I did notice is nose heavy with my 6000 mah lipo so I had to adjust the trims. I also have an A 3 gyro since it’s very windy where I fly. I do land with the speed brake deployed and do feel it helps on final for landing. I also use 4000 mah lipo and flies great to, but time it to only 3 minutes.
I think you will really enjoy that one. Use a some stabilization to help you out if your cool with that, if not, then I am sure you will do fine. Just be sure to have dual rates setup, and do your best to keep your cool cause it will be a lot faster than you are used to. Power is your friend but try to keep it around half throttle. The EDF's really eat up the batter power. And stick to a 3 minute timer for the maiden and adjust from there. Thanks for asking and watching. Cheers!

You will need to wait to take off a little bit longer ( let it get up to speed before you rotate ) and you’ll need to land a bit faster than usual with an EDF. What was your total flight time with that many go arounds ? I’m running the exact same batteries. Just bought 6 of them . Planning for another Flex Innovation Flex Jet , EFlite A4 , F14 & a few others . Damn batteries are gonna break me . Gotta get 6 more
@@hamiltonshangar Crashed her . Upon take off , didn’t a steel rod 4ft out of the ground . Knew it was there . Just didn’t see I was lined up with it . Clipped left tip . The rod also had rope on it , which also wrapped around the wing . About $150 in replacement parts & repair . Gonna try again . But piss’d with myself for sure .
Its big for sure man, It breaks down and transports very easily though. The long tail piece I made magnetic, the nose cone is magnetic also and is not short. The wings come off and the vertical stabs with two screws each. I believe you can handle the transportation. Cheers

Total flight time was about 4:30 LOL!! It’s awesome if you conserve the battery I’ve seen. Awesome man those are good ones! F-14 is amazing!!

It didn't look big until you held it up. I think I will need a bigger car before getting that.
