You need give ult after the fight has started. The position is very important. Dagger is good. I think lich is one from the best supports in dota. He don't need artifacts, he can make huge damage in mass fight, mana independent, gives good armor bonus for taemmates, don't need good micro control, only he need give good ult, wards and it's all.

Great hero. I used to play over 10 years ago.
I'd just coast all game... then I'd randomly show up to battle and destroy all 5 enemy heroes.
Lich is the perfect hero.
Randomly shows up for no reason.
Destroys the Enemy.
Then goes away.
Hard farm in early game bro, you keep the creeps very good and nice strategy (to kill your creeps). You are the king of DotA!!!. :)

+zufar zero the power of ulti of lich based on how many bounces. it means if you play 1v1 lich ulti is weak bec. one bounce only. lich ulti is effective on 3 or more opponents
lich is a support hero. it doesn't need a maelstrom.. you need to build items that is for support. not for hitter ☺

Easy win from start , instead of venge or necro they needed Carry fighter with lifesteal so he can go few rounds with anti - mage or tiny bara , venge and necro couldnt do nothing cause sniper is behind attacking , they needed someone who can jump , troll or lifestelar admiral huskar mortred , pudge is useless vs bara who always charging ( cant hook ) anti mage blink + farms a lot , lich behind i meannn....
