These two men are so extremely, talented! I would have just been so enthralled, to being near them and listening to these fabulous musicians!! I watched people walk by and I was amazed, That they were so completely, oblivious to the absolutely amazing music that was happening!!❤

My late brother-in-law played honky-tonk piano. Toward the end of his life he suffered from dementia. One day his wife found him sitting at the piano and crying. She asked him what was wrong and he said, "I used to be able to play the piano, and now I can't remember how." A real tragedy for the whole family. I hope Ed is playing now in heaven for all the saints and angels.
🛐🛐🛐 Prayers for your family. My mom also had dementia. She passed two years ago at 89. I took videos of her playing. The last one was about two weeks before she died. I put those videos on flash drives for the family. 🥰

I remember as a teenager playing duets at churches and places playing classical music. Never was a fan of that music where I was born to play Rock and Roll! I used to prop the cover up so that the music would resonate with sound and fill the air with the vibrations! I'm not sure if the piano they are playing will allow them to open it up and increase the sound. As I grew older and went to college later in life, I returned to playing music for the undergraduate credits with piano lessons. My instructors enjoyed my attention to learn more than what was being taught, and I practiced on the old grand grand Steinways propping them open again to fill the room with music. Students and adults walking in the hallways would clap in between songs and ask if I was an instructor where I replied that I'm a student enjoying music sharing with others. I long to go back and learn basic cords and rhythms such as what is being used in this video so I can strike u a melody like they are doing in a public place or simply at a simple setting to give the public some music to enjoy for awhile! Well done!

He's good at the piano, that's true, but he play way too fast.. That's my personal taste obviously but it's something usual nowadays.. People want to play fast, but playing fast isn't what make music sound better or beautiful. It's not even really harder to play fast if you can really play your instrument. But still as a musician I would have stop to listen to him. But I still prefer more beautiful and slower interpretations like Karl Richter interpretation of Bach's Passacaglia and fugue in C minor. He does have a slow tempo, and this sound way better than any recent interpretation I've heard of this piece.. And I stil play that piece at that slower tempo.

My Mom taught herself to play the piano by ear on her grandmother’s old piano. If she heard it she could play it. Never could read a note. There were five sisters and sometimes only potatoes for dinner. My great grandmother must have had nerves of steel to listen to her picking at keys for hours until she had it mastered. She was so gifted and we did so much singing growing up. Luckily as a child I did very much value her gift. Miss you Mom

There were five sisters and sometimes only potatoes for dinner. My great grandmother must have had nerves of steel to listen to her picking at keys for hours until she had it mastered. She was so gifted and we did so much singing growing up. Luckily as a child I did very much value her gift. Miss you Mom
