  • Solid Edge delivers intuitive tools for complex shape construction, a must for designers of ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing consumer products. In this demonstration, featuring Solid Edge customer T-fal, we re-design the rear panel of a domestic fryer to eliminate physical interference between its cooling fan and the rear casing. This video shows how Solid Edge provides a broad collection of surface and solid modelling tools- perfect for creation of complex consumer products.

I really love Solid Edge as a mechanical engineer. There are times that I use other CADs because of equation driven curves, unfortunately. As we mostly design complex shapes like fan blades, pump rotors, gears etc. , we must use already created 3D curves based on researches and analysis.
I have done them by "curve by table" command but whenever I need to update it, I mean my Excel table, I faced many problems. I haven't checked SE ST8 yet but we really in need of a built in equation driven curve system which can be used with the powerful "variable table" offered by Solid Edge.
Thanks for reading my comment. Much respect for Solid Edge team.
