Why does anyone have friends? Because you might share an interest, they have a personality that clicks with yours, a compatible sense of humour.
There is a myriad of reasons to be friends with someone but ultimately it boils down to enjoying their company.
Enjoying spending time with someone doesn’t mean you want to f*ck them.
Being able to make that distinction is a sign of emotional maturity.
