Because of generic to specific structure. I got mandatory pairs right DB and AC and my order was DBAC. Though the correct order is ACDB.
A is most generic (read : ....all the changes that happen.......) talking about all changes first.
C follows A ( read: ....it cannot be aware....) as 'it' refers brain which was mentioned in A.
D is next (read: .....these changes .) which is more specific than A but less specific that B which talks of 'this tendency' ....most specific sentence.
