Lucky needs to be the one to break the cycle that Luke started, and show his son what it’s like to have a present, caring father around. It’s not too late.
He did break the cycle when Greg Vaughan played him. Lucky was always there for the boys. Even during during his drug addiction he was there for Cam more than he is to those boys now. It's when JJ returned the cycle emerged because the writers wanted him to be a mini Luke. It was fine when he was a teenager, but he's an adult now and it's not cute.
I love seeing Maurice and Jonathan having scenes together especially after their State of Mind podcast together. Maurice started working with Jonathan when he was only 11 and he's so proud of the man he has become. Wish I could say the same for Lucky at this moment in time. I really hope the writers give him a good storyline soon because I hate what they are doing with Lucky right now.
Lucky has been running from the Luke’s shadow and influence his entire life. He both idolized and feared becoming his father… and here we are. Would really love to see him dive in and attack those demons head on. Don’t just put him back in Elizabeth’s orbit because it’s convenient, don’t just make him stuck around because Lulu wakes up… really delving into the character and why he is the way he is. JJ is phenomenal and to get him back is such a coup… praying the writers don’t waste it, or him on surfacey crap storylines.
I love Jonathon Jackson, always have since he first hit GH at only 11 yrs. old & I really want him to stay. Please give him a good interesting job & have him get to know his Son & reconnect with Elizabeth again. He & Elizabeth used to be such a great couple & they could be again. I was surprised he didn't want to go back to the PCPD. Can't recall his last experience being bad... I wonder if Sonny will get him a job at The Savoy. Or Cody's or Brad's old job with Selina.

The memory issue is something that really annoys me. The viewer is just supposed to accept that Drew seems to remember things from his past that he shouldn't be able to without even a brief explanation in the story of how that came about.

At least Ric has been there for Molly! And second, ric is better suited with Liz, writers. I am in my 50’s- writing Liz and Lucky like they were in the damn snow is not a winning storyline. The chemistry is gone because Becky’s character grew up on camera- as a single mom of three sons- amd she did it alone. Not even Jason has been there for his boys. Not jake and not Danny. He proved that today by punching Drew. It’s not Jason’s fight- yet you trashed Drew since Jason came back to make him the new AJ- thumbs doen for that because Drew is not the criminal. Jason is a hitman. Drew a navy seal. A congressman- and now you trashed him just to prop Jason up yet ITS MICHAELS STORYLINE! You never shouldve broke up Carly and Drew because that storyline had longevity! And with jason and Drew fighting- it shouldve been OVER CARLY. This makes no sense at all except putting Jason in every storyline and it’s getting old. Ric was right. Jason could go to prison and Drew is within his rights to press charges- because that is the LAW! Now jason does not deserve Danny- i hope he stays with Dante where he belongs! This slimy storyline with Willow has zero payoff because you did not allow Michael to take the lead- you give it to Jason. All you proved is that the story was written for one purpose- and it wasnt to break yp Willow and Michael but to prop up Jason. Enough. As for Lucky- love J Jackson- but he was not needed for this storyline- and cutting Michael Easton for this just blows. But thats the business- i keep reminding myself of this. This scene should’ve been between Kevin and Lucky. I don’t care if Sonny and Luke were friends once upon a time. Sonny, Carly, and Jason don’t need to be inserted everywhere taking screen time from everyone else and they are the last people to get advice from. Sonny should be in jail. We get it, the writers have forced them to be connected to everyone, but enough is enough. Kevin is raising Ace and helped with Spencer, he’s not foreign to parenting. Plus he’s a psychiatrist who can help him with his issues. Plus he’s Lucky’s stepfather.

I say blame the writers. Even when JJ played Lucky from 2009-2011 he was a good father, it was only when JJ decided to leave the writers did a character assassination by making him a deadbeat dad, it was completely out of nowhere for someone who loved being a dad. When JJ left they could've easily written Lucky as a dad who would visit Aiden offscreen and vice versa but no.

So Luke "warned" Lucky about being a cop.... Why is being a cop such a bad thing??? Even during Lucky's drug addiction, GV's version was a MUCH better father to Cam than he is to those boys now.
I say blame the writers. Even when JJ played Lucky from 2009-2011 he was a good father, it was only when JJ decided to leave the writers did a character assassination by making him a deadbeat dad, it was completely out of nowhere for someone who loved being a dad. When JJ left they could've easily written Lucky as a dad who would visit Aiden offscreen and vice versa but no.

You know a lucky I’ve been wondering that too you’re getting on my nerves you know what leave just leave. I don’t care if the actors on contract just leave or don’t show him that much because he’s getting on my nerves.. ever since he found out that he’s not a donor for Lulu he’s been wanting to get the heck out of port Charles and the only reason he’s not doing that now is because he wants somebody’s blessing that way he won’t feel less guilty. If I would’ve told just giving him my blessing, just so he can get out of Port Charles. my goodness this was 11 years ago. I wouldn’t believe this was lucky. He’s doing exactly what he hated his father for doing.
