What is the name of the connection/connector. I will look it up on Amazon. I currently have a emergency 47" bar light on my interceptor and has that type of water proof connection mentioned in your video. My future bar light does not have a connector.

This is a nice connector. It looks like you wouldn't even have to know which was Ground, Hot and Neutral as long as you connect the corresponding wires on each side of the connector.

Thanks for this , I had old type black box junction boxes but wanted something neater and slimmer for spiked led lights which are supplied with a very small length of wire, no where could I find what is generally used. Saw these but the lack of description in the diy shops online how it fits both ends was annoying !

Very helpful. I’m having trouble with the reliability of my 12v landscape lights and I think it’s due to deterioration of the connections. I’ve even soldered some out of desperation but they’re still not waterproof. How do you think these will work with 12ga twin lead? I suppose I could always pot them with RTV for a sure seal. These wires aren’t submerged but do get wet.Thanks!
Works great with 12 volt landscape wiring. My son used my second one I had on his landscape lights wire. it's been about 12 months no issues.
We used this same kind today for a pump in a well down down 60 meters. Not sure how deep it is in the water. Then I watched your video and see you said 2 feet in the water. I hope our connection will keep working so we won't have to pull the pump and redo the connection.

You can coat the whole thing in type I silicone caulk for insurance.

I would think so. the seal is rubber and as long as it’s not damaged on inspection it should be fine.

At 0:35 the chart shows where each wire goes and clearly marked on the connector but you need to know which color is what... Ground, Neutral and Load.
Colors have to correspond on each end.
What do you do when you have different size of cable from each end coming in
The 2 way (3-pole) M20 plug connector, comes with two sizes of rubber ring, Cable Range : Ø5-9mm/9-12mm. Read the description of each sizes they have on the Amazon link in the description.
Need this as my tow car connector was very corrosion due to water. My tow car is a five slot connector with bigger diameter cord. Do they make bigger. .Thank for share.

Wondering if I can make this connection at the bottom tier near the pump submerged thus avoiding the additional cuts. Would it be safe and secure?
If you have enough slack I don't see why not. Mine did not. These connectors are submersible. See description. Also, as I mentioned on your previous comment; "If you want you can also wrap the connection with "228 Moisture sealing Electrical tape". Just for extra protection".
I have a sprinkler wire with 7 colors inside that got cut. Looking for something like this but able to have as many as I need. My system only uses 6 of the 7 though. Any recommendations or help on how to rejoin my cut wire properly?

It does the same thing but square shaped, plus you can screw it on a surface. The one I used is utilized more for extensions. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you need to look at some junkyards and see if you can get a door If the outside panel is that bad.

Probably the wood frame is rotten and the metal has nothing to hold it. A good carpenter could probably fix it.

Cable for outdoor use: CPE thermoset rubber jacket. Cable Size: 5-10mm, with 2 or 3-pin.

There is a situation where it is not allowed to have 2 long wires joined together by merging the cores and taping around it... But if the situation have to use those two pieces of wires of 4 core 4mm 90metre long, how to connect them safely without breaking safety rules... Like can the male/female box be used with MCB? Or is there any other ways to joint the 4 cores of two long wires by something that is waterproof , fire proof, short-circuit proof...
