Thanks for posting these highlights. Can see why he's rated so highly. Freak athlete, great touch on the throws combined with high velocity, and pretty good mechanics for being so young. Of course, these are "highlights" vs. whole game reels, but as far as highlights go, you'd be hard pressed to find anything better for QBs.
That throw at 13:26 is excellent, shifts to the right, resets his feet and delivers a DIME between two defenders for an almost fifty yard touchdown throw. Start this man against Ohio State on Saturday!
Not guaranteed. He definitely looks great no doubt but it doesn’t look like he’s making as many downfield throws as he’s going to have to thread. He doesn’t look comfortable unless he’s in his first progression I’ll have to watch more footage
@Bixzyrd it's possible but it really depends on how far along he is. IMO. I do think they will get him on the field as much as they can if they think he close.
It’s a lot of comments hating on this kid and I understand why. His name been all in the news so some people instinct is to naturally go against what’s in plain sight and say “he looks ok” “not impressed”, this kid has EVERYTHING you look for in a QB, EVERYTHING
As a lifelong Michigan fan I fear our staff will sit this young man every other good team in the ncaa constantly starts freshmen and excels with them but we have this crazy idea of not playing guys until they are grey headed they had better play this kid and work with him
@Carlogambino12381 other teams play certain freshman. It's all about who can play right away. Just bc someone is talented does t mean they are ready. Michigan started true freshman Rod Moore who was a 3 star safety. They are currently playing freshman Evan Link on the line and he has been horrendous. Don't worry about playing freshman. Worry about playing the right players. If Jadyn Davis was ready and better he would be starting.
@ I agree but the days of sitting guys are over or these kids will hit the portal if the playbook is to complicated then simplify it I would take rookie mistakes over a Davis warren or John o korn any day
Sitting them just bc they are freshman? Yeah that is gone from every program. If any of these freshman were good enough to play the other players would be pushing for them as well. What team would follow a coach that doesn't play the best players?
Michigan staff better tell him he must slide before contact every time. Try to develop him as a pocket passer first as well and tell him To use his legs as little as possible to surprise them and keeep him safe. He’s got great passing mechanics it looks like, let’s not use him as a double threat first.
The Big Ten ain’t ready…I’m telling you. I’d expect both Amorion Walker and Freddy Moore to benefit greatly from Underwood’s mechanics, IQ, Accuracy, velocity on the ball.
Looks good. Just glad LSU isn’t getting ‘em, SEC is rough enough as is. Unless Michigan gets an experienced QB from the portal I’d imagine he’ll be the starting for ‘em next season.
@louieo.blevinsmusic4197 Coach Moore told Bryce ans his family they plan on bringing in an experienced QB from the portal. Miller Moss has expressed interest in Michigan already.
Maybe it’s because he’s going against highschoolers. He good, but you can’t correctly compare a college QB against college players to a high school kid against other high school players. Of course he’s going to look good. Give it some time and we will see how he does his first year of college.
I’m literally watching him throw a 50yd dot at 5:33 mark while reading this comment, so clearly you watched less than 5 minutes of a 20 minute video and had the audacity to post about what you didn’t see, of course you didn’t see if you didn’t watch 😂😂😂..
They are putting their faith in this kid? I saw a couple of quarterback designed plays.... no real rush attack, also didn't see any rushes where he actually had to evade. But he is what Warren is not - he is actually at least mobile. High school is a whole different ball game - he needs to bulk up about a good 20 lbs. We won't know what he's capable of until he gets on the field, not even spring practice. He is fast, don't know about quick, but he can move. If this was his only reel, I'd say there has to be a healthy competition between he and Alex Orji, Davis Warren needs to get up out of there... What this kid does represent is a chance. 4 Cheryl Moore to redeem himself by taking control of the offense until he can find a coordinator that can work with the spread RPO. In an s e c style smash mouth unit. In other words, the unit. He's been building the last 3 years that netted Michigan a national championship, but walked away because he promoted a coordinator that was unqualified so then had to rest it unit to a dropback pocketpass unit and that pretty much messed everything up. He has an arm. You have to remember that's not a necessity for a dual-threat QB, But that'll open up the playbook.. good for him. I like a lot of what I see... but he needs to beef up
@Koureybingham it is not all he does but don't forget this is a highlight video of high school. If the team throws a lot of screens or runs a lot, there isn't much the QB can do. I'm just not putting those routine plays in a highlight video.
Michigan, for the love of God, please just let this man play his brand of football on the field. He's unstoppable if you let him do him
I got a feeling they will

Yeah because you paid him 10 million. Boy the pressure for him to save the program and perform with no weapons around him 😂
Anthony Richardson 2.0
@Buckeyes1119 There's more on the way. Don't think it stops here...
@ stop it your draft class is mid tier every year. You’re a “developmental” program that’s has nothing on its roster.
@@Buckeyes1119 Wrong.
in my estimation you'll be seeing him start pretty early on.
@TrevorHamberger From what I read coaches told him they fully plan on bringing in a transfer QB as well. Miller Moss is interested in Michigan.

Bryce underwood and Michigan winning natty next year 💯 🏆
That would be amazing! He can blowout 🚫hi🚫 next year!
Michigan needs to get the right OC for this guy now.
Let’s bet money on that
One great rushing QB is not enough to win a ship. They are pretty mediocre overall since Harbaugh, JJ, and Hutch left.
hahahaah

Great video. Can you post highlights of: Tavien St. Clair, Malik Washington, Husan Longstreet and Aidan Chiles?

,He most definitely starting for michigan next year, he go dominate as a freshman 💯💯
No he has to learn the playbook and that’s gonna take a while
@@JD_StudiosYTthey better simplify the playbook because any other team in America is playing this young man his first game

Sean With The Play By Play!
@gifted26 lol I noticed his voice too.
Hes like Vince Young but faster and with a stronger, more accurate arm. Buckeyes are sh-tting themselves.

His receivers are making all the plays he just throws screens every play the team up north gets another bust at qb
He's a special talent, but loses a lot of Swagg points for being a QB wearing #19

2 percent better than Orji. Meh
Too bad Michigan has no receivers that can get separation, especially when Loveland leaves.
