You have just created next-gen level of integration. Huge Respect for your work. I'm using variator and render blocks almost every day, but this is just on another level.
Great work! This is definitely the most fully realised reaper/wwise importer I've seen and goes way beyond Karl Techno's WAAPI transfer tool (no disrespect to Karl:)). While watching the video I was a little bit concerned initially at the reliance on overlapping regions to denote actor-mixer structures as this could clutter up a session quite quickly, but I'm glad you've included a few alternative options. It would be great to unlock the option to specify randomise values on volume, pitch etc. at a container level. This can often be a chore to set up in wwise. I'll de downloading this very soon to test it out. Thanks!
Fantastic work, LKC -- we are desperate for workflow improvements in this space! 2 thoughts/suggestions: 1) You are using the DAW to generate a structure path, something that feels awkward/backward. Can you instead start from an existing structure in Wwise and pull that structure into Reaper? 2) related, for complex structures I use Wwise Import Templates a lot to fasttrack settings like randomizations, blends, and switch container assignments. In order to use them however, you have to do a full folder path representation of every object in the structure, which can get annoyingly dense and can even stress system file path limitations. This seems like a weakness your tool could address by recognizing the intended target Import Template structure but remove the need for the export path structure to mirror it literally. Thanks again for your work in this space!
Where can I find the quick start guide? I installed with ReaPack so I don't have a download. I can tell its an amazing tool but I don't have any idea how you set up most of the most important basic things on your project.
@@lkctools Thank you! Just checked it out and works fine! Btw just a little suggestion. When you use the smart originals folder setting and you have tracks with Path only it also includes the the () part on the folder name. Would be great to be able to bypass it! Also it would be awesome to have an option to select which parts of the structure will be included into the Originals and Events structure since sometimes you would want to skip one actor mixer or so....

you just killed the video game industry for sound designers

Cool
Is there any way to add metatags to the containers and not to the single SFX?
Unfortunately not yet.
I would appreciate so much if you could show how to setup the taskbars as you have them :)
There is a page dedicated to it inside quick start guide.
