Ok, I'm instantly subscribing. Hopefully you keep churning more guides & you grow. I'm playing on Switch so seeing someone go so in depth is so helpful since I am not the greatest at doing commands. I currently am making an Adventure Map where you travel to 12 "regions", explore dungeons, complete puzzles etc. Maybe I'll get some good ideas here. I am 8 regions in for 2 years on/Off so I need some more ideas.lol
OMG, LOVE YOU FOR THIS!! ❤️ Since Covid Year, I've learned a lot from commands and making my Dungeons server/map, which consists of something similar to your adventure map where players must complete Dungeons by killing mobs, buying permanent buffs, finding loot from dead mobs and barrels, all to become strong enough to be the Dungeon boss and progress into the next Dungeon. That server has 1000s of advanced commands from Spell Crafting, Slot Machins, and recreation of other video games. To well boss fights! I'd love to make videos on how to do these things, just scared it won't perform well compared to making something extremely simple 😅 I'd also love to check out your adventure map and see if I can provide any more ideas! ✨️🐇
@@MonkeyChan118 - It's nothing too crazy, it's more like a simplistic version of a earlier Legend of Zelda game. I made houses with NPC's that don't have commands but just dialog, asking for something like x amount of x item & having a paydoor with the requested item on display & once you provide said item & amount by dropping them into hopper, the door will open. I used a seed which had a Woodland Mansion & several different biomes around it & worked off of them. You obtain Iron, diamond, & netherite variants of an axe, pickaxe, & shovel with commands allowing them to break certain blocks. As for the dungeons, there are things like finding keyz, parkour, breaking cobblestone block to allow water to flow down, allowing to swim up, shooting an arrow at a target with a command block to remove/add a block in that dungeon, etc. I've been doing this on/off for 6 years actually but this specific world is my 2nd adventure map but it's my most worked on. It's a work in progress but I still feel like a noob. But my 7 year old seems to enjoy my map. Once I finish tweaking some things on it, I can most definitely let you try it out & give me honest feedback. I have 30 second clips of the first 2 regions on my channel, they are only 30 seconds but it gives you somewhat of an idea of it looks like so far, if you want to check it out in the meantime. I've personally used themes from other games myself as you can copy some neat ideas or even expand on them to make new innovations, and being able to make something others enjoy is a wonderful feeling. it seems that your /kill command isn't the same as mine, double check your commands to make sure everything is spelled letter for letter and correctly!!
Hey I have a really cool idea for my skygen but I'm scared it might be impossible. I put all the tags on the areas as I wanted to use a progression system as you suggested, however, instead of selling it for coins I created an npc bot that gives you quests and if you complete the quest you gain the progression. Not only this but I want after completing a quest to be shown different dialogue and have a different quest without the first option showing. Pretty much like completing a quest and being given a new one. I know this might be difficult or impossible but it would be extremely helpful if you could manage to concoct some sort of solution. There's no point in replying to this anymore because the save file got corrupted and the world is deleted now. After All the hours I put into it, it was all for nothing
Actually this is not impossible! With the same usage of the tags you can either use those to send the message to the player if they have the corresponding tag. Like /execute as @initiator[tag=progress1] run /tellraw, and it will only message the player if they have progress1, but if when they get progress2 and on you will need to change the command to this /execute as @initiator[tag=progress1] unless entity @s[tag=progress2] unless entity @s[tag=progress3] run /tellraw. Nowwww that may be alot if you want to add multiple Quests, so instead I'd add on to your progression system or change it to scores so that instead of looking for tags you could have a score that goes up+. So basically have a score objective named Quest and each time you progress in the Quest add 1 to it. Then make it so the player can't progress through that npc again, then for all your progress areas (sorry my pc broke for rn, can't pull the command off top of head). Anyways that's like two ways to do that, probably don't make sense much, but I can def do a vid on Quests! Is just may take a while as I have upcoming surgery >;
Grate, 60^2 million blocks to get rid of in all chunks. That's Too time consuming. But both games versions were bundled at some point. With tools 1 version Can be used for editing. (on PC)
& The Good old legacy days seem so long ago. Also there are world save converter applications for both bedrock and java. But besides that, I notice a quality update to commands I wish was on bedrock.
@jonathanschenck8154 Oh yeah, commands are so much easier to work with in Bedrock, but Java allows for way more customization, and you could do way more cool things in java
there may be in error around that part for you, I'd double check every command in the npc to see if its the same as mine and your objectives are spelled correctly
@HumanNotAlienn If it's not killing it, there would be a problem with the /kill command. Make sure it's spelled correctly and that the command settings look exactly like the one in this video!!
Hi I'm having trouble with the automatic plots. I used the command you suggested to Dominic but the npc still won't die when you use that command. Luckily I think everything else is in order as my spawn point is set and the new land is spawned. Please try and help me I'm so close to finishing my masterpiece all thanks to you
Since I use gravestone add on people kill each other in spawn and can't remove it unless I'm on is there a command that after a few seconds will break the gravestones hope you can read (:
Ooh well, I don't know how that addon works as I've never used it before, but their definitely is a way! If it's an entity, you could first type in your chat as on the left it will give you a guide on how to use the command - /kill @e[type=(type name of entity that appears called gravestone or wtv they're may be multiple, so make sure to type each one out and kill the entity)] Once you finish, copy those commands from the chat into Repeating Command Blocks 🟪 Nowww if it's not an entity 😅 This is where things get tough as you're gonna need to probably make a small contraption to get them removed or it could be as simple as a /fill command to remove the specific blocks if it could work in your situation. I could help more if I got a better look at it, so if you'd like, try to find a time I'm active, and I'd be able to help you, right now I'm heading to sleep for abit again, soo later today I could probably help if available ofc! 🙂↕️

As an operator, it is a very strong permission that should be given to people you trust. I promise you I won't do anything wrong, I have no intent too, but just in case something wrong happens (it shouldn't), just make a backup of the world
Make sure the command is set properly with the other commands. Also, it's always active and following the right condition. Also do make sure your gen egg is named Dirt Gen
Make sure you double-check to see if the commands are correct. If it still doesn't work, I'll check later to see if that part of the video is not working
7:48 i have found that if you have access to some invisible bedrock, (it is a hard to obtain item that you can't get with commands, however, with nbt editors or -- my preferred method -- a custom addon with a simple recipe that inputs an item [bedrock for instance] and have it output with the item name "minecraft:invisibleBedrock" {still remember, can't get it with commands}, you can get it. [read up on addons/custom recipes at the bedrock wiki]) due to its unique properties of being able to interact through it due to a lack of hitbox--like air--but not being able to move through it as a player (weirdly though, projectiles can pass through without hinderance) it is like a normal block or a barrier, this makes it optimal for multiple things--such as block generators--because you can place through it, you cannot place blocks on top of it. due to the fact that you can interact through it, you can't pickblock it or destroy it with tools, you will need a fill or setblock command to remove it. ask questions if you want, have a blessed day. tl;dr is use invisible bedrock,
Oh ofc I do know about invisible bedrock, and it does have its uses, but it truly is a mess to deal with as some of them you can't break even in creative, so you must you commands to remove it. This is a good way if someone would like to do it like this, so thanks for sharing this! :D

Little tip: if you want to make a bigger generator, just use /fill and put the coordinates of the opposite corners Thanks for your help, I couldn't create a store without your video!
Here's a tip, you can set the repeat command block for the shopss to have a tick delay such as 5-8 so that the noise doesnt play too often and you dont accidentally sell too much.
The plot system is probably the hardest thing in here, I'd double check if you got your cords, and commands all correct. You could tell me your error codes and I could help you out abit. I will definetly making a better version of that system since this one in this video doesn't fully work imo

Without money? Well if you have your commands to make it all testfor the scores, than it shouldn't have problmes, also when I made the auto plots for this video I missed a few key things lol, gonna def make a seperate better video on them in the future
37:28 hey so I have the pick block keybind but whenever I use pick block on a structure block it just gives me a normal structure block without the data. I’m on Xbox by the way Edit: I found out a way to do it by getting a keyboard

Omg, sorry late late response been MIA for a bit. You can do this by instead of /give you use a /structure by cloning an item with a structure block. I cover this sorta in my KitPVP video which is slightly scuffed but it covers how to do it and it's Timestamped to help out
make it so they can't place eggs anywhere but their plots. and if you want to take even more precautions then that would require you to know how paramaters work

Yes, that used to be the command, but I do believe it doesn't work anymore since they changed data codes to straight up names for commands not 100% though
Whenever i place the spawn egg, nothing happens. The command blocks say they did something but they didnt. I cheked the commands multiple times but they are exactly like ypurs. What can i do to fix this?
So somebody in the comments said that if you buy the plot with no coins it will kill the npc without spawning a new one so can you just tell me the exact correct commands?
This is a more updated system adjust to your liking but if you want the npc to get killed I recommned putting a command like this /kill @e[type=npc,x=~9,dx=1,y=~1,dy=3,z=~0,dz=0] for this you will need to do the counting thing I did and count the blocks from the command block to where the previous npc would be each time you load it, and then it would kill as the new plot gets loaded in since this command gets loaded in with it, the second option would be to set a redstone block beneath the npc connected to a command that kills the npc nearby /execute as @initiator [scores={Money=500..},tag=!BoughtPlot] run structure load plot ~-16~-5~-3 /playsound random.levelup @initiator[scores={Money=500..},tag=!BoughtPlot] /spawnpoint @initiator[scores={Money=500..},tag=!BoughtPlot] ~~~5 /tp @initiator[scores={Money=500..},tag=!BoughtPlot] ~~~10 ~180~ /tag @initiator[scores={Money=500..},tag=!BoughtPlot] add BoughtPlot /scoreboard players remove @initiator[scores={Money=500..}] Money 500

i made the spawn egg generators but when u purchase them in survival they disappear out of ur inventory how do you fix this ?
that is a little weird, try grabbing the egg from creative then switching to survival, you may have a command in your world that is breaking it..
25:15 you actually can but its hard to find. The command is "/give @s spawn_egg 1 51", because the NPC spawn egg is number 51 in the game.

This is where things get tough as you're gonna need to probably make a small contraption to get them removed or it could be as simple as a /fill command to remove the specific blocks if it could work in your situation. i have found that if you have access to some invisible bedrock,
(it is a hard to obtain item that you can't get with commands,
however, with nbt editors or -- my preferred method -- a custom addon
with a simple recipe that inputs an item [bedrock for instance] and
have it output with the item name "minecraft:invisibleBedrock"
{still remember, can't get it with commands},
you can get it.
[read up on addons/custom recipes at the bedrock wiki])
due to its unique properties of being able to interact through
it due to a lack of hitbox--like air--but not being able to
move through it as a player (weirdly though, projectiles can pass through without hinderance)
it is like a normal block or a barrier, this makes it optimal for multiple things--such as block generators--because you can place through it, you cannot place blocks on top of it.
due to the fact that you can interact through it, you can't pickblock it or destroy it with tools, you will need a fill or setblock command to remove it. ask questions if you want, have a blessed day.
tl;dr is use invisible bedrock,
Oh ofc I do know about invisible bedrock, and it does have its uses, but it truly is a mess to deal with as some of them you can't break even in creative, so you must you commands to remove it. This is a good way if someone would like to do it like this, so thanks for sharing this! :D

It’s genuinely insane that she can do commentary with so little cuts. Keep it up and you’re gonna be the first person to look for to learn commands.

Little tip: if you want to make a bigger generator, just use /fill and put the coordinates of the opposite corners

Here's a tip, you can set the repeat command block for the shopss to have a tick delay such as 5-8 so that the noise doesnt play too often and you dont accidentally sell too much.

The plot system is probably the hardest thing in here, I'd double check if you got your cords, and commands all correct. You could tell me your error codes and I could help you out abit. I will definetly making a better version of that system since this one in this video doesn't fully work imo

Without money? Well if you have your commands to make it all testfor the scores, than it shouldn't have problmes, also when I made the auto plots for this video I missed a few key things lol, gonna def make a seperate better video on them in the future

The ticking area will make it so it works anywhere you go, I'd double check your execute commands

Omg, sorry late late response been MIA for a bit. You can do this by instead of /give you use a /structure by cloning an item with a structure block. I cover this sorta in my KitPVP video which is slightly scuffed but it covers how to do it and it's Timestamped to help out

I wouldn't say this is the best explanation, but if you take the idea of parameters from my portal video, you can do the part I was mentioning
So somebody in the comments said that if you buy the plot with no coins it will kill the npc without spawning a new one so can you just tell me the exact correct commands?
This is a more updated system adjust to your liking but if you want the npc to get killed I recommned putting a command like this
/kill @e[type=npc,x=~9,dx=1,y=~1,dy=3,z=~0,dz=0]
for this you will need to do the counting thing I did and count the blocks from the command block to where the previous npc would be each time you load it, and then it would kill as the new plot gets loaded in since this command gets loaded in with it, the second option would be to set a redstone block beneath the npc connected to a command that kills the npc nearby
