Having experience in the TCG (Pokemon) world of mystery boxes it's a similar story. It's good to see videos that provide the reality of mystery items where the "big pulls" are either golden tickets or carrots on a string.
Nice video. I haven't opened my Series 2 Vaultbox yet. I haven't even weighed it (not that it matters with the card inserts). Maybe I'll be a lucky winner... LOL
I have watched so many Vault Box 2 reveals that I wanted a graded Platinum Eagle, in Platinum the Eagles demand more just like Gold or Silver Eagles do, so I picked up a NGC MS70 2006 1/ 10 Platinum Eagle because they only made 11,001 of them for that year, and that appeals to me as a mintage collector first.
The owner said series 2 would not have any 3 ASE boxes unless one was a red core. They didn’t like how many there were in series 1. But as you saw the price went up $129 a box as well.
I enjoyed watching you unbox the vault boxes but I've seen a lot of vids for those and not one of them "seemed" worth the price. It's like a really cool and exciting way to gamble and lose. Just my opinion, but I definitely enjoyed the video, so thank you for sharing the experience.
the value they seemed to have if irrelevant, that's not the point. Who cares if you get $700 worth of coins for your $700. The real value is in opening the box. If you take a trip to paris do you complain that you cant sell it later?
You can buy them when they go on sale but you have to fight against everyone else on the website and they’re gone within 30 minutes. There’s no “I think I’ll buy a box tomorrow after work” with these. They went on sale at 11 am CST on a week day and were gone in 15 minutes. Series two had twice as many boxes as series one and they cost $129 more a box. Belive they were $765 with shipping
