I hear you. I to was once believing all these people, at least for a short time. I read the entire new testament over a period of time and started listening to people like Dawn. In my case it was Chris Rosebrough who had been a part of the latter rain movement at one time. I too was struck with the simplicity of the Gospel and wondered why are they complicating, then after a few years all I could come up with was money. But power over people I believe may be as important to them as money.

Mark 8:11-12 The Pharisees came out and began to argue with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, to test Him. Sighing deeply in His spirit, He *said, “Why does this generation seek for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.” The Lord helped me to overcome anxiety from listening to too many voices out there on the internet..I was so overwhelmed until I culled so many channels, so many groups etc..I literally scaled everything down to just the Holy Bible and then added very few channels back..and glad I found yours during this time.
Signs and wonders will follow those who believe. The Bible I've had dreams and visions since I was 17. Had no one to talk to about it. I never asked for these but Jesus healed me in a number of instances in my dreams and visions. And the healing was real when I woke up.
That is an outstanding question! It seems the focus in the NAR is so much on the “miraculous” it comes at the expense of sound biblical exegesis. When a person questions them about that, any person, cessationist or not, they accuse you of all sorts of neglect of the Holy Spirit. This is why I for one see them as 2 Tim 3:1-6 and willing to ignore the sufficiency of scripture 2 Tim 3:16-17. I don’t see a true Christian seeking the signs and wonders like they do at the expense of seeking to know and love Christ and his word. The real Holy Spirit points to Christ not “stuff.”
I've had demonic nightmares for most of my life. I also had crystal clear "prophetic" dreams. That's what I was told they were, anyway. I gave power to them. When the dam broke and the scales dropped from my eyes, my demonic nightmares stopped. I still have vivid dreams, but I take meds for severe BiPolar1 disorder. Vivid dreams can be a side effect. wow! i was literally just praying yesterday & asking the Lord if i should throw out my books about dream interpretation (i was in the mystic, charismatic church for a decade & left in Jan. 2021). & i had a pretty demonic dream last night.. i used to get my dreams interpreted weekly, often using the Hebrew alphabet symbols & number chart as well as biblical symbolism i was taught. i was definitely told that because i dream every night, it was a "sign" i was growing closer to the Lord. the group i was a part of believed we were part of the 144,000 - so of course i was always seeing this number throughout the day & in my dreams & was then told this was the Lord confirming all of it. this was so incredibly timely. thank you! 🖤
Thank you for doing what you do. My husband and I left a word of faith. I am still struggling as I don't know any strong women with biblically sound doctrine. I have so many questions and just want another women to talk with as well but most of the women I know are still trapped and we don't see eye to eye; as they want to talk about prophecy readings and other things. I was in the charismatic movement, it wasn't the NAR, but going to people for confirmation, I used to see that all the time, I used to do that. I'm glad I left the prophetic movement!!
They speak by the same spirit as those in the new age. I know this from my own experience of being a deceived Christian entrenched in new age occult activities. Dreams typical confirm what you already want or believe.

There’s a big focus on dreams, visions, stories, experiences, and their extra biblical“word from the Lord” because they don’t really want to use the Bible. They want to get you distracted. They need you to need them.

I had to fast forward the Alexander guy because the yelling-style preaching is so difficult for me. Would you be able to address the need for yelling in this movement in one of your videos? I don't understand the yelling of a basic concept or the dramatic pauses after a super simple point (and taking the Lord's name in vain while preaching). Once I began questioning the NAR, the yelling no longer made sense to me during the services. If you could do a video on this, I would appreciate it so much!

Heyy Miss Dawn first off I love what you do and I think you’re great for women as well! I believe God is using you 100 percent but I also think we need to choose our battles wisely! I’m not a goofy guy I speak on and expose falsehoods myself but I’ve had specific demonic attacks in my dreams involving animals several times. Pagani may be a little extra but he was not false with this. I’ve experienced this and I’m not even a huge fan of him nor the NAR. You don’t want to be a scoffer of things you don’t understand or don’t have the revelation for. As long as he’s not coming against Christ , living holy, and pursuing righteousness if it’s coming from the Bible and it’s not wicked choose wisely whether to attack it or not. My “wife” emailed me yesterday after 10 months of silence, 2 months after her initiating a no fault divorce after her adultery and abandonment and in that email she said this- I know all about demons and the cunningness of the enemy but the Lord is always near and willing to heal, when we are ready to look at ourselves and ask for forgiveness and deliverance. He opens the eyes of the blind, when we admit that we are blinded by the ways of this world, thinking that our happiness is there in🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 He just wanted me to tell you that🙏🏽💕 “God” told her to tell me that apparently?!?! 🤦🏻♂️ 😂. This is the same woman who claimed to have had visions that I have a slave owner spirit, that I was trying to kill her spirit and that I would literally kill her. Well, none of those things are true or actually happened so……..my question would be are you sure that was God? But I’ve been counselled to ignore her email and continue living my life in Christ as I’m no longer held to that marriage due to her adultery/abandonment and she’s obviously an unbeliever.
I had a clear God dream 20 years ago. I was in an abusive marriage and was torn to leave or stay. The dream was a female lion was crouched down and about to run and eat me My sister was standing there and she was wisdom i knew this and she said " run" and she pointed to the tree of life off in the distance and I said " no do this" and i was crouched down and hiding under muddy mirky water. I know this was from God He was saying run to me! And i wanted to stay in the anger and abuse so i understood it that way If i had really interpreted it right i might have stayed married and gotten stronger in the Lord like live in the tree of life and it would be the best for all. Unfortunately i was so damaged by the abuse i left. But a God dream is a real true God dream. This was. ❤
There will be chaotic times before the return of Jesus who warned about the many false "prophets" as the sign of the end times, that begun with Jesu sacrifice on the cross.
I’m here because I follow a guy that is former Amish, and he made a shirt where he claimed that he had a prophetic dream about the end times. While I believe that he had the dream, I just think it was prophetic
Pagani seems to know more about demons and classes of demons , demons in your dreams. Dream interpretation with all these animals , but doesn't seem to know that the bible does NOT say that dogs are mans best friend, if anything dogs are not highly thought of throughout the bible. I have been requesting for quite some time that Jan and Darlene address this issue because there’s a lot out there that’s courses on dream interpretation declaring themselves as Christian organizations. I do not believe that you need to learn how to interpret dreams. I think it’s quite demonic and it’s not pointing to Christ. it’s pointing to the person. So now instead of going to the Bible and just reading the word and growing in my relationship every time I have a dream I’m gonna go to so-and-so for them to interpret it. 🤬 how sad!!
Dreams are usually your sub conscious or your conscience. If they are confusing then that is probably the devil leading you astray in confusion as Satan is the author of confusion and chaos.

I hardly dream, can't never remember most of my dreams, and don't see visions. But I do read the Bible and study them. The Holy Spirit usually speaks through scriptures. Pagan also into random dreams and have a whole doctrine on how to interpret dreams. Are they of God? Hmmm... The bible is the prophecy of God. Read the bible not dream.
I noticed that many, not all, of these NAR and false prophets are FAST TALKERS. Others talk slowly and hypnotically and try to sound intelligent or ethereal, but they are all twisting God’s Word and telling tall tales. 🤣🤢🤮🤣
Isaiah makes my blood boil. The first few words already make me shake my head. "Some of y'all are too strong for the enemy..." Oh, is that so? How convenient for him to say. Where's this back door? Does the sealing of the Holy Spirit have a leak? These people are using the Lord's name in vain for their nonsense.
It’s very interesting that none of these people who go about promoting dreams and visions as though direct revelation from God, have any criteria to measure against their assumptions in order to know if it in fact comes from God, or a demon, or Satan, or their own sinful flesh. This is only owing to the fact that these people are not tethered to scripture for having acquired for themselves teachers to soothe their itching ears. It is for this reason that they feel most comfortable in twisting and distorting the text of scripture to import the meaning of the passage that they would like it to say- according to their own folly. They wickedly compare themselves to those contained within the annals of scripture as though they assume that their own personal experience is just as authoritative as God‘s word found in scripture… -the only place that God‘s word is found. It is by this same measure which they draw upon to exegete their own experience rather than to exegete God‘s word according to its only correct context. They would rather despise the idea - that for any passage of scripture there is only one correct interpretation and all other interpretations are wrong. They lean heavily upon making scripture say whatever they want to , and in so doing they blaspheme God. These are workmen who need to be ashamed other slothful, lazy, unlearned, and in accurate approach to the holy word of God. They all have to lean upon certain distractions and outward neuances in order to make them selves appear to be authenticated by God. Isaiah salad bar has a tendency to incessantly bloviate, and then so doing he sounds like he has this continuous wealth of information that he needs to hurry up and get out because it’s hot off the press straight from gods mouth. Unfortunately, he is a mouthpiece for Satan, not for God. Lue Engle has the unfortunate tendency to rock back-and-forth like some cockatoo - because we’re supposed to understand that this is clearly the works of the Holy Spirit that causes somebody to have this demonically charged mannerism of uncontrollable jerking and contorting one’s body. I think it’s either fabricator or it’s a medical condition that he has not disclosed to people. In the past when he’s talked about this, he acts like he’s not the one controlling it, and then you can’t help notice but at certain points while he’s talking it’s almost like he’s forgotten to do it and then he suddenly remembered -“oh yeah I’m supposed to be rocking about now”. This man doesn’t have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit… Not when you hear the kinds of heresies that come out of his mouth on a daily basis. There is no conviction for unrighteousness, sin, or false teaching. Charlie Shamp has the hair that looks like his thinks he’s Elvis… But has a 5 o’clock shadow of a steel brush Chia pet. He needs you to pay attention to his outward appearance as what makes him an authoritative conduit for the fresh revelation from God. To his own shame, he disregards the sufficient word of God‘s in order to make quasi-palpable his vague utterances. Perhaps if he had spent less time working on his hair and his looks… He could’ve invested more time rightly handling scripture in its correct context. He is sort of the unofficial male version of Jan Crouch. He might as well have purple hair.

The problem with Corey’s take on this is, if God is giving us personal revelation - speaking to us in dreams and visions today, then the scripture is not sufficient. I think he’s a little bit too wonky in his approach. I think he gives way too much shade to those claiming God said when God did not say. If God said to you today something that even lined up with scripture… How is what He supposedly said not as authoritative as scripture? By this same argument, one would have to give credit to Joseph Smith regarding his five different versions of the first vision. And if you argue that scripture IS sufficient, then why is it not part of the canon of scripture just because it lines up with scripture? If it lines up with scripture… Then what need would there be to have personal revelation today? If we’re being honest, God’s word is sufficient in scripture, and we do not need personal dreams and visions in order to guide our lives, God’s word has already provided us a way of knowing what his word is without having our personal experiences to try and “exegete”.

There’s a big focus on dreams, visions, stories, experiences, and their extra biblical“word from the Lord” because they don’t really want to use the Bible. They want to get you distracted. They need you to need them.

Thank you so much for addressing this! Realizing how many life decisions I have made in the past based on visions/dreams-so dangerous. I had to fast forward the Alexander guy because the yelling-style preaching is so difficult for me. Would you be able to address the need for yelling in this movement in one of your videos? I don't understand the yelling of a basic concept or the dramatic pauses after a super simple point (and taking the Lord's name in vain while preaching). Once I began questioning the NAR, the yelling no longer made sense to me during the services. If you could do a video on this, I would appreciate it so much!

Heyy Miss Dawn first off I love what you do and I think you’re great for women as well! I believe God is using you 100 percent but I also think we need to choose our battles wisely! I’m not a goofy guy I speak on and expose falsehoods myself but I’ve had specific demonic attacks in my dreams involving animals several times. Pagani may be a little extra but he was not false with this. I’ve experienced this and I’m not even a huge fan of him nor the NAR. You don’t want to be a scoffer of things you don’t understand or don’t have the revelation for. As long as he’s not coming against Christ , living holy, and pursuing righteousness if it’s coming from the Bible and it’s not wicked choose wisely whether to attack it or not. Godbless.. much honor and respect for how the lord has moved through the zeal he put in you to open up eyes to falsehoods within the body.

But I’ve been counselled to ignore her email and continue living my life in Christ as I’m no longer held to that marriage due to her adultery/abandonment and she’s obviously an unbeliever.
I had a clear God dream 20 years ago. I was in an abusive marriage and was torn to leave or stay. The dream was a female lion was crouched down and about to run and eat me
My sister was standing there and she was wisdom i knew this and she said " run" and she pointed to the tree of life off in the distance and I said " no do this" and i was crouched down and hiding under muddy mirky water. I know this was from God He was saying run to me! And i wanted to stay in the anger and abuse so i understood it that way
If i had really interpreted it right i might have stayed married and gotten stronger in the Lord like live in the tree of life and it would be the best for all. Unfortunately i was so damaged by the abuse i left. But a God dream is a real true God dream. This was. ❤

Dream interpretation with all these animals , but doesn't seem to know that the bible does NOT say that dogs are mans best friend, if anything dogs are not highly thought of throughout the bible. Perhaps Pagani spends more time thinking about drmons, and not enough studying the word of God.

thank you for doing this. I have been requesting for quite some time that Jan and Darlene address this issue because there’s a lot out there that’s courses on dream interpretation declaring themselves as Christian organizations. I do not believe that you need to learn how to interpret dreams. I think it’s quite demonic and it’s not pointing to Christ. it’s pointing to the person. So now instead of going to the Bible and just reading the word and growing in my relationship every time I have a dream I’m gonna go to so-and-so for them to interpret it. 🤬 how sad!!
Dreams are usually your sub conscious or your conscience. If they are confusing then that is probably the devil leading you astray in confusion as Satan is the author of confusion and chaos.

How can people claim to be so spiritual without first being scriptual? And I don't mean twisted scripture used incorrectly to justify going off the reservation! Many in the NAR don't need to be identified as a false prophet in order to avoid them because they are first so easily identified as a false teacher form their misuse of scripture.

I hardly dream, can't never remember most of my dreams, and don't see visions. But I do read the Bible and study them. The Holy Spirit usually speaks through scriptures. Joel 2:29 had happened in Acts 2:21 once. May happen again in future to the 2 witnesses but definitely not what the nar is pushing. Pagan also into random dreams and have a whole doctrine on how to interpret dreams. Are they of God? Hmmm...

I noticed that many, not all, of these NAR and false prophets are FAST TALKERS. Others talk slowly and hypnotically and try to sound intelligent or ethereal, but they are all twisting God’s Word and telling tall tales. 🤣🤢🤮🤣

It’s very interesting that none of these people who go about promoting dreams and visions as though direct revelation from God, have any criteria to measure against their assumptions in order to know if it in fact comes from God, or a demon, or Satan, or their own sinful flesh. This is only owing to the fact that these people are not tethered to scripture for having acquired for themselves teachers to soothe their itching ears. It is for this reason that they feel most comfortable in twisting and distorting the text of scripture to import the meaning of the passage that they would like it to say- according to their own folly. They wickedly compare themselves to those contained within the annals of scripture as though they assume that their own personal experience is just as authoritative as God‘s word found in scripture… -the only place that God‘s word is found.
It is by this same measure which they draw upon to exegete their own experience rather than to exegete God‘s word according to its only correct context. They would rather despise the idea - that for any passage of scripture there is only one correct interpretation and all other interpretations are wrong. They lean heavily upon making scripture say whatever they want to , and in so doing they blaspheme God. These are workmen who need to be ashamed other slothful, lazy, unlearned, and in accurate approach to the holy word of God.
They all have to lean upon certain distractions and outward neuances in order to make them selves appear to be authenticated by God.
Isaiah salad bar has a tendency to incessantly bloviate, and then so doing he sounds like he has this continuous wealth of information that he needs to hurry up and get out because it’s hot off the press straight from gods mouth. Unfortunately, he is a mouthpiece for Satan, not for God.

In the past when he’s talked about this, he acts like he’s not the one controlling it, and then you can’t help notice but at certain points while he’s talking it’s almost like he’s forgotten to do it and then he suddenly remembered -“oh yeah I’m supposed to be rocking about now”. This man doesn’t have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit… Not when you hear the kinds of heresies that come out of his mouth on a daily basis. There is no conviction for unrighteousness, sin, or false teaching.
Charlie Shamp has the hair that looks like his thinks he’s Elvis… But has a 5 o’clock shadow of a steel brush Chia pet. He needs you to pay attention to his outward appearance as what makes him an authoritative conduit for the fresh revelation from God. To his own shame, he disregards the sufficient word of God‘s in order to make quasi-palpable his vague utterances. Perhaps if he had spent less time working on his hair and his looks… He could’ve invested more time rightly handling scripture in its correct context. He is sort of the unofficial male version of Jan Crouch. He might as well have purple hair.

The problem with Corey’s take on this is, if God is giving us personal revelation - speaking to us in dreams and visions today, then the scripture is not sufficient.
I think he’s a little bit too wonky in his approach. I think he gives way too much shade to those claiming God said when God did not say. If God said to you today something that even lined up with scripture… How is what He supposedly said not as authoritative as scripture?
By this same argument, one would have to give credit to Joseph Smith regarding his five different versions of the first vision.
And if you argue that scripture IS sufficient, then why is it not part of the canon of scripture just because it lines up with scripture?
If it lines up with scripture… Then what need would there be to have personal revelation today?
If we’re being honest, God’s word is sufficient in scripture, and we do not need personal dreams and visions in order to guide our lives, God’s word has already provided us a way of knowing what his word is without having our personal experiences to try and “exegete”.
