One of the greatest change as a young working couple living ourselves is food. Instead of coming home to a home cooked meal, we now need to preplan what we eat.
👨‍🍳 Home cooked is great because we can control the amount of salt and sugar added, but can be time consuming. Hence, we usually make simple one pot dishes like the miso udon and pasta bolognese featured here. If I could give another tip, it is to purchase groceries that don’t spoil so easily in case you cannot cook on days as planned. E.g., carrots and tomatoes.
On other days, especially weekends, we like to meet friends/ family and together, explore local hawkers and restaurants for a change! 🍽️
