Thanks for another excellent video, Liam and Phil. I particularly enjoyed seeing the double-headers and hearing the B12 in much better form than when I saw it in 2016. Your captures of the Crab really bring out the difference between cab and tender width; that must have quite an effect on the footplate when running in reverse. Kind regards, Bob.

There’s something uniquely different with loco in the opening shot. For a loco a big as this you expect something more in the way of wheel connecting rods. I find this very unusual.
To the best of my knowledge, she is the only surviving inside cylinder 4 6 0 in the country. The con rods certainly give her an unusual appearance, more akin to a 4 4 0 design. It takes the eye a little time to become accustomed to this. We are, however, graced by the survival of a totally unique, and priceless example of railway history which represents a particular stage of the development of the steam locomotive, and certainly, in my opinion, possesses an elegance all of her own.
No, not at both ends. There are a few railways which have turntables, but not all are operational. The West Somerset Railway, has access to a triangle and a turntable at the other end of line, meaning they can run all their trains smokebox first.
Is this railway "historical railway", in the sens that the signs and almost everything is historical? If yes, are the electric poles (the wooden ones) part of the railway? This is so cool that the UK keeps on operating steam trains, I don't know if we do in France... Thanks for sharing the videos!
