I love your video ❤. But I was wondering since I don't have a strong plastic wire because every time I make one they end up breaking 😢. I'm wondering if I could double the fishing line to make it stronger? Could you please reply?
If you can get ahold of a stronger fishing line it would be best. Unfortunately running two lines may mean that some beads won’t fit through the two lines. Some people use wire as well, that’s just not the way I do it.
Thank you for this great video. I'm making a Suncatcher right now, for a friend of mine, who's really into the beach and she loves shells and so on. We live very close to the beach here in Melbourne, Australia and it's the middle of summer right now, so I'm using beads made out of shells, as well as crystal bicones, some beautiful 6/0 seed beads and silver plated charms to hang from the end of the Suncatcher. But I'm using Beadalon 19 strand beading wire for stringing the beads, instead of fishing line like you're using. Do you think my Suncatcher will be alright if it's kept inside or should I remake it? Thanks again, from Amanda in Melbourne
It should be just fine especially being inside. Everything weathers when we consider being outside and unfortunately it doesn’t last as long. I would think the design you create will be stunning! I actually started making these as gifts one year and quickly realized how impactful a crystal gift can be. Thanks for sharing your information and process 🥰
The flute beads I find at my supplier. They can be found everywhere though! Some will be acrylic and some may even be metal so lots of options and sizes to find.
I was so loving this video until I reached the end and did not see how you ended the strand of beads! Do you have another video that shows how you finished off the end of the suncatcher?
Yes my apologies I had to separate the video but the remaining part is here in this link. th-cam.com/video/gmDkq6wfxEM/w-d-xo.html I have a new video of them here as well if you wish to see another version. th-cam.com/video/UoSvcgpA7io/w-d-xo.html
I have another video that you can see the entirety. If you speed up the video it’s towards the end of this one that I tie up the top for you to see. Sorry still learning how to make these videos and learning about how to control sound as well. Hope this helps. th-cam.com/video/UoSvcgpA7io/w-d-xo.html
I actually don’t purchase at just one retailer. The best I could suggest is to search Google, Amazon, eBay and local marketplaces. If you have a bead shop that’s a great place to start as well!
This was my very first video so it’s in two different videos. Not everyone is perfect when they start but they work to improve by trying. Thanks for watching I do have others and their not perfect but I’m sharing a technique for free so… 🤷🏼♀️
Awe.. the video ended before I saw you hold it up.. I was mesmerized watching you ❤❤. So beautiful. I want to learn the right way 🙂
Thank you for such a sweet comment they are truly beautiful 🤩 if head to the link in the description for part two I share the rest of the process. 👍
Love these. I am looking for a video on how to tie off the end and what kind of fastener you use.
I’m an using a clamshell clasp to tie them off. Thanks for watching! ☺️
Beautifully designed ✨
Thank you 😊
Excellent tutorial 💙 Thank you!

Very pretty
🙏thank you for watching 👍
I absolutely love your work if I may ask where do you get the flute head

Sorry I finished the rest in a few videos but here’s the second part :th-cam.com/video/gmDkq6wfxEM/w-d-xo.html
It's lovely, but the video cuts off at the end and we don't see how the piece is finished up...

I was wondering the same, how did you knot the top to keep the beads tight?

are you taking beads to make necklaces? that's wonderful!!
How did you get that crystal ball like did you buy it or creat it.
That is soo beautiful ❤️
I buy them. They are created in Egypt and have the best quality I’ve seen! Thank you ☺️
are these crystals different with normal ones u find attached to decorating lamps?
Yes they are. If these were in a lamp I can only imagine what it would be priced at?🤔💭
Would you mind sharing where i can purchase the crystal beads so i can make some ☺️

AJ where do you get your end flute beads? I have searched many sites and only find acrylic ones in that shape....
Try searching as a bell bead or flower bead. The description seems to change depending on manufacturers.

Yes, I have...is yours glass?
You must have to reorder from time to time, yes?
No they may be acrylic? I got mine from my local bead shop and some online.
I just searched acrylic bell bead and lots of different ones came up that will work. It also looked like “trumpet bead” pulls some up.
Here’s another video detailing the tutorial on my knot tying process. th-cam.com/video/bgbi1SCub4o/w-d-xo.html
Wish you showed the end product.
The second part has the finished design. Sorry it’s not together.
You worked so slow & talked too much. It wasn't even finished, how to finish it off is the most important. 😡
