- Hello Lovelies! Today I have a fun tutorial on how to create a Halloween "mini pocket letter." It's a new twist on the traditional pocket letter. During the tutorial you will learn how make simple embellishments, create a shaker pocket with and without a fuse tool, and layer.

My Sister's birthday is in a couple of weeks I'm going to try my first one. Where can you find Confetti, I've looked everywhere
Hi Gloria. 🙂 If I remember correctly I purchased the spider 🕷 confetti at Hobby Lobby a few years ago. If the store isn’t carrying it this year I recommended checking Walmart, Michaels, or Party City in the Halloween department (spooky party favor section). I know some Walmarts this year are carrying tiny spiders with some thickness that would be cute.
Don’t forget you can create your own confetti with paper punches and metal dies.
The other things I used in the mix were sequins and chunky glitter.
Do you need to get the letter hand canceled at the post office, when you mail these? Thanks!
I always have the post office weigh my mail. :) The price can vary depending on the state, type of envelope, thickness, and weight. I also try to use flat items when I use a standard envelope to prevent the envelope from tearing in transport. :)
This is sooooo freaken cute! But I’m curious what the point or purpose for this pocket letters? Just for decorative purposes?
Dayana Alvarado I’m in a few pocket letter groups on Facebook and they’re kind of a pen pal way for crafters and planners to share supplies and information about themselves with others. So for example you might wrap
Some washi tapes around a tag before putting it in a pocket and maybe stuff one of the pockets with some stickers or clips. so then the person who receives I️t can use those little gifts in a planner page perhaps or in a future craft project they do. And people usually write something about themselves in a pocket too
